Do you grocery shop with coupons?

We have a couple of store that do double coupons but no triple. They will triple the amount of the coupon up the a certain amount on the original coupon-- ie- they will triple coupons with a face value up to .55 cents.

Our grocery store (Shoprite) will double coupons (up to $.99) every day. Several times a year they'll triple coupons (up to $.50) for a 1 week period.

I agree with the brand loyalty thing that's why it really pays to look at the unit price and figure out whether coupons and/or sales actually make a product cheaper.

Only occasionally.
There isn't a store within driving distance of me that doubles coupons. Most coupons in the paper seem to be of products that I don't use. I don't have kids in the house anymore, so don't need some of that stuff (cereal, cookies, canned meals) in the house. I try to use generic and buy at Costco in bulk.

I love Costco, but ours isn't too close...so I really plan out those trips.

As for the paper not having coupons for items that you use...you may be able to swap coupons with someone (relative that lives in another state). I swap with a guy who used to work with my hubby...he gets coupons from his family that lives in California....it's a whole new world of coupons.

I started to use coupons after I joint DISboard!! I have been saving alot, and we have more food in the house. I am feeding 6, and my DH is the only one working.
