I'm not snarky (well, my screenname is not snarky) ...but I dunno, that 'wear gloves' comment really could be considered offensive... :lmao:

Remember you are your own brand of sweet/snarky! :rotfl:

To answer the question. No I have never hit it. I saw it before, and wondered why you would use it. I guess that does make sense.

I am another one that reconzies people by the sigs, and it helps.

T&B, everytime Lily sees your sig she yells "Kitty!" It is pretty cute.

And just to try it out I am going to hit it.

Anybody reconize me??????

Who in the heck is this poster? Could be someone with an alias. What is his/her post count. When did they register? :confused3 Should we report them? Who are they and what do they think they are doing here? :rolleyes1

It's a TROLL!!!!

A troll who is back from a weekend in Canada! Oh look here is that Kitty again! :cool1:

Wendy, let's back away slowly and carefully... I'm going to disable my kitty (that doesn't sound right--don't call SPCA :rotfl: ) and maybe she won't see us leave out the back door. :lmao:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...... I want kitty back. :cat:

Yes, I do deactivate my signature on threads where the mood is somber, such as a "my father just died", "please pray for me I was just diagnosed with such and such". At first I thought it was really tacky that others didn't turn off their signatures but then I figured most people didn't even know they could. It doesn't matter much at the moment since my picture was deleted for being too big and I don't know how to resize.

Good morning everyone!!! :sunny:

I want to thank all of you for supporting me with this poll :grouphug: . I appreciate all of you who took the time to post on here. I also appreciate this thread not turning into a big debate - the thread stayed right on track :thumbsup2

Thanks again!!!

So we only have 8 people polite and considerate enough to hit the "show your signature button"!!!! :sad2: Oh, that makes me sad about us!

We're bad, bad people!

Kitty is back, into trouble as always and Lily can be happy again. :teeth:

Slo, a thread can never stay totally on topic with a few of us involved, but we do keep it lively. And after reading the comments of the person who posted on the other thread, I'm hoping that she truly was just asking a question out of curiosity (yes, she was off topic and maybe should have started a thread over here about it), and she should have explained herself a little more, but she probably didn't intend to come across the way she did. That the problem with message boards.

I know one time I asked a question on the restaurant board and someone mentioned that it's been asked a lot and I could have searched for the answer. I forgot if I had tried to search and the search wouldn't work or had what I felt was a more detailed question, but I do use the search feature a lot and was a bit offended. I commented over here in some thread (I think maybe about pet peeves, I don't remember exactly what the thread was about) that someone just shouldn't reply if they didn't want to and she saw my reply and sent me a PM apologizing and explaining. I felt SO bad and realized that her intent was nothing like I'd thought and I was embarrassed that she'd seen my comment. See you all, I'm really a nice person in real life. :teeth:

Hoo Boy! I’m apparently still not making myself very clear. This has to be because of my lack of writing skills. Let me make just one more attempt to clarify, and explain why I made the post inquiring about the “show signature” button in the first place:

I like the signatures very much, and I enjoy the photos. I have no problem with them whatsoever.

Both of my posts on this subject clearly stated that I was merely wondering why so many people put their PHOTOS ON THE SAME THREAD more than once. I never said I had a problem scrolling (I don’t), and scrolling has nothing to do with it.

I noticed the option to omit the signature the first time I wrote a post for this site. It escapes me how anyone who pays attention to Disney detail would not also notice that option; but some have said that they didn’t know it was there. Anyhow, it occurred to me that omitting duplicate photos on the same thread would have the effect of saving, space on the base computer(s). But I guess I was wrong about that too.

The original poster (Slo) makes a very good and valid point when she questions why I even mentioned signatures in a thread she started on another subject. That was a mistake on my part, and I am sorry about that. I hereby apologize.

Still learning, but still enjoying WDW posts, I remain ..

Karnak

Enjoy.

To answer your question, no, I never hit that button.

And, inspired by this thread, here's my siggy with brand spankin new, guidelines acceptable photo included:

Our at least as on track as some of us can stay. (but it does keep bumping it. :Pinkbounc )

I honestly don't get the respect of turning of a sig when posting something sad or serious. It is just that, a person's siganture. It is a good way of adding personailty to a post so people can keep track of who they are. A face with the name so to speak.

T&B, so happy kitty is back. I don't miss the eggs at all though. :teeth: ;)

I need a new count down clock for our next trip, but can't decided what picture to take out so I haven't go one yet. I need the counter for Lily so I can remember how old she is. LOL. :rotfl:

I understand and there's nothing wrong with asking! Just a bit of confusion and actually it's been an education. :)

PhD, I don't miss my eggs, either (none if them ;) ). The only reason I'd kept my signature ones is because I kept thinking that they'd turning into something else. I love surprises. Again, I'm a cheap date! :rotfl2:

I bet your DH doesn't think you are that cheap (after how many years of marrige.) I know that my DH might think I was a cheap date, but not to be married too (and my ebay obbession is getting worse.)

My DH wishes that I hadn't discovered WDW! I was cheap until that obsession started.

Oh, me too, T&B. I never required expensive clothes or cars or makeup you can't buy at Target, but once we started going to WDW, I guess I made up for all that :smooth:

I'm in the "I didn't even know it was there" crowd. I see it now--I don't mess with any of that stuff!! I'm afraid I'll mess something up!!
