Early December 1BR at 11 Months (Copper Creek): Impossible or Doable?

How hard is it to book One Bedroom units at 11 months the first three weeks in December? It seems unanimous that studios are impossible.

EDIT: Of course I left out the most important piece of information.. Copper Creek specifically!!

Studios are not impossible. Someone has to be able to book them.

As to your question: It probably depends a lot on which 1BRs you are talking about. Glancing at the DVC Field Guide tables: A GFV Resort View 1BR goes pretty fast. SSR Preferred 1BR? You've got some time.

We booked a 1 bed @ BRV the second week of December 2026 no problem. I the ended up canceling it and rebooked an AKV 1 bed for the third week of December less than 10 months out. It’s not impossible. You might not get your first choice but it’s doable!

Having CCV Home Resort priority: Nothing impossible. Studios are popular that time of year. Have two categories to try for. (Same points). Resort (tub and pretty much the first floor dedicated), & some alternate shaped studios) And Resort Shower. (Pretty much the other floors-dedicated/lockoff mix). The “one bedroom”, odds are even better to secure. Just don’t delay at all at 11 months for getting 7+ nights.

The average DVC’er is all about point value over luxury when booking one bedrooms. (Or have 5 instead of 4 & have to book it). Opposite at resorts like BCV. The studios there hold more..go figure.

Edit: One bedroom may be even easier here being bit of a unicorn on squeezing DVC villas into a hotel wing. 4 & 4 occupants studios & one bedroom.
