every day? Right now I have 1 ps everyday for 9 days. 5 of which are character meals...I was thinking of dropping some but can't see which to drop..we love them all...

For charcater meals I have CM, CP, PSB, LTT-with MNSSHP, Cindy at 1900 PF

The non character meals are Beaches & Cream, Boatwrights, CRT-dinner, H&V-fantasmic, Boma, & Biergarten.

We have to do CM every trip so can't drop that...PSB-my little DD would love that, CP is also another must do, also want to take advantage of LTT right before MNSSHP, oh what to do!!!!!!!! Too much or just go with it? (this will be the most character meals we have ever done on one trip)

Yes, we have at least one sit down ps a day. I think it gives the family time to rest and reconnect.

Yes, we do a sit down meal once a day. It is a much needed break from counter service.

Yep, thanks!

Wow you have alot planned too, ok I don't feel like we are doing too many now. We should have the DDE so that should help with some of the cost. I know alot of people & the UG say you shouldn't do too many long meals because it takes away from the touring of the parks, but I think the meals are part of the overall experience. :)

Yes we do at least one sit down sometimes two a day. I find it a better break for our kids than counter service. Counter services (except Columbia Harbor House upstairs ) seems to rushed to me. Plus we go in July and I want to make sure we are not wandering around with three hungry kids looking for a place to eat!

Another family here who has at least 1 sit down meal planned per day. I find that it doesn't take much longer than counter service by the time you wait in the lengthy line. It is a nice break for your feet as well! princess: pirate: :earboy2:

One PS for each day and most times two for each day.We have been to WDW 30 plus times so have a good idea what day we will be visiting each park, etc.We now enjoy Disney dining more then we did on earlier visits. Then we felt no time for sit down meals, wastes to much touring time.Well now a little older and we not only enjoy the great food but also that extra little rest and relaxation. We may see a little less now than earlier trips but what we do see now we enjoy much more. :goodvibes :wave2:

Yep, and sometimes we do two sit-downs in one day, just depends. My kids do better if we sit down and have a meal, than just counter service all the time. On our trip last fall we did 7 character meals, and we loved them all. Some more than others of course, but we enjoyed each one.

We usually do not do a PS everyday.... but two or three special meals each trip.
This trip, I am only going for 4 nights with my 10yr old. He does NOT want to do a character dinner, so I booked Ohana for dinner and the SciFi for lunch. I did book Chef Mickeys for breakfast on our last morning, just in case he changes his mind.
I wish I could do more, but we have chosen to go more often for less money.

My husband absolutely hates counter service. Feels that if he's paying for the food someone should be bringing it to him as well. The only thing we will do counter service is an occasional snack and wine in the world showcase...

If we didn't have the DDE we would be spending way too much on food at disney.

We usually do a few ps's per week long trip-usually 2-3 dinners and a character breakfast. Anything more is way too planned for us. :)

We do 1 a day, and on Holidays 2. On the upcoming trip I have a breakfast at Boma's and a late lunch at Teppanyaki. We like the sit down meals a lot, and it's a nice break for your feet and from the sun!

Yup, at least one sit-down a day, sometimes 2. The only one we usually don't do is breakfast and that's because we're not big breakfast eaters. We like our breakfast on the go - grab a couple of muffins, a bottle of milk/juice, and off to the bus stop.

But lunch and dinner... a big part of a WDW trip is in the eating. So we try to schedule as many of our favorites in the time we have... and the list is growing each trip! :)

Yes we do sit down once a day.....to me its worth the extra buck or two to sit down and unwind and enjoy a nice meal than to do a counter, hunt for a table, and deal with the crowds. Quite a few times we have spent more money at the counter places than at a sit down restaurant, so now I make sure if we are in the parks I make ps for a sit down lunch , if we are spending the day at the pool, ps for dinner. :earsboy:

Absolutely. Sometimes 2 breakfast and dinner. We really dont do any counter service. We have a late breakfast/early lunch to keep us going all day and then dinner around the time the parks close. when others are in line for counter service 5-7 pm we are on the rides. we always stay until the parks close.

This trip:
arrival night: chef mickeys dinner
wed: Kona cafe at 11 am, dinner at Lecellier at 8:50, (park closes at 9)
Thurs: sleep late 2 pm lite lunch in the castle, 7pm dinner at liberty tree , park closes at 10
Fri: 11 am brunch at kona, 8:30 dinner at artist point
sat: snacks at epcot, 9pm dinner at clambake.
sun: Brunch at Bomas.

Michelle
