Do I need to pack beach towels?

Sorry so many silly questions but this is our first Disney cruise. Do I need to pack beach towels for port days or does Disney provide beach towels to use?

I know that they supply them at Castaway Cay.

Not sure about any other Ports.

You don't HAVE to, but I like to bring them. Mostly for off the ship, so if we have seats at Castaway cay etc, they stand out "a little"

They are available at your meeting point aboard before departure to your excursion!
And if on a private excursion, you can pick them up from the pool deck!

In both circumstances, please make sure you bring them back to the ship!

Towel bin's are provided at the gangway when you get back onboard your home from home!

If I remember correctly they have racks filled with towels on the pier in port.

They sell really cute beach towels too!

No need to bring your own towels...Disney will have them on the gangway. Bring a bag or backpack to carry the towels and your stuff.

DCL has never had "beach size" towels like some other cruise lines at the pool or for excursions. They are bath size. I like to buy a beach size towel when I cruise special itineraries so I have Castaway Cay, Disney Vacation Club, Panama and transatlantic crossing towels and am looking forward to a Hawaiian beach towel in October. I use that towel for the cruise-like someone else posted-it is easier to find my chair at Castaway.

How much do the towels run?

It depends on the quality-there are a couple different ones I have seen and they range $20ish-$40ish if I remember correctly.

On Castaway Cay (and other ports as well) you can get cheaper ones.(Castaway sells generic bahama ones for less than Disney themed ones)
