Our flight arrives around 9:30a.m. We are staying at Pop. I don't know what we are going to end up doing that day but I am wondering if we would definitely get our luggage by about 6 or whether I should just pick up one bag myself and let ME get the rest. (I will need stuff for our dinner ADR and it won't fit in our carryon luggage)

99.9% chance you will have your bags at the latest 3:30 (that would be if your room wasnt read until 3) Bags are delivered almost all of the time within 3 hours of your check in at your resort, again, unless the room isnt ready, once the room is ready your bags will follow shortly after that..

The biggest thing that could happen would be if the luggage was delayed in the airline system, if that happens, it doesnt matter if you are waiting for it at the airport or not, as it still wont be there :) The chance of it getting delayed on either part is VERY, VERY slim. The only way to 100% assure you have it, is carry on, but you've already stated you cant take it on carry on (although, my mind is trying to figure out what you are needing that cant fit into a carry on bag of proper size and a small personal bag for each person, since we have frequent flyer types here that can live for days out of a carry on and conduct business) :)

DME or not ... No matter where I fly, I wouldn't be caught dead without my first 24 hours of necessities in my carry-on ... what if the AIRLINE delays my bags??? [And remember, each ticketed passenger is entitled to a carry-on.]

So even if I was taking a car service to my resort from the airport, I'd still pack my dinner clothes in my carry-on.

Anyway, to directly answer your timeline question (assuming the flight lands on-time) ...
You're landing around 9:30, so maybe you can expect to deplane by 9:40. The average reported time from airplane exit to resort is 70 minutes. So maybe you're at Pop by 10:50 a.m. Disney says to expect your bags to be delivered to the inside of your resort room (whether you're in there or not) by about 3 hours after you check-in at your resort. So you can expect your bags to be in your room hopefully by 2 p.m. (assuming your room is ready by then).

My carryon is stuffed with activities for a 19 month old that I am desperately hoping will sleep the entire flight. My personal item is filled with diapering and feeding supplies and a toddler leash. I'm just trying to fit a dress, tights and shoes (for DD so really small) but I'm really not sure if there is even that much space.
