I just want to make sure that my DS and his friend will be okay, since we are DRIVING to WDW and they are taking a plane....what kinds of ID (or any other doucmentation) will they need, once they arrive at MCO?? Do they just go to the DME podium??

The go with to the dme podium with your vouchers ,and they check you in and then tell you what line to get in for what resort ,then they scan your vouchers before you get on.

...does WDW send you these, along with your luggage tags, in the mail??

I'm assuming that reservations have already been made for them to use DME, correct? If not, call and make them their reservations. They will have all the info they need in the info packet that gets sent out a month or so before they are due to fly. In that packet will be directions to the DME checkin counter, their yellow luggage tags (which will go on any checked bags), and their vouchers. When they get to the DME checkin counter, they will hand over the vouchers, which will be stamped. They will be directed to the correct bus line for their particular resort. When they get to the bus, their vouchers will be scanned and on the bus they'll get.
They will only need their vouchers from the info packet...no other ID will be needed, at least it hasn't been the three times I've checked in.

...GOTCHA! :thumbsup2 Actually, I'm STILL going online to check out the best price and flight time for their airfare...I will try to book by TODAY, and then call WDW to let DME know that they will be flying in....

No, but they will need it to get on the plane, so they would have it with them if asked for any reason, right?
