Me too...in between work. Wish I could stay here all day, but alas it is the work that makes it so I can go to my beloved Disney!

My family will be joining you in 120 days! We also are from PA. We are scheduled to arrive at Mco at 8:15 am. Then off to pick up rental car and head to AOA to check it out. I really am excited and cant wait to see more pictures.

My sister and I still need to book a night before our reservations officially begin over at SSR in November. It was going to be POP but now this is starting to look pretty interesting!

Wow! I hope we all have a magical time and the weather is good. Last year we went in August and the heat, humidity and ran was terrible. Looking forward to lower crowds and some what better weather. We live about an hour north of Pittsburgh in Kittanning area!

Me too!! But of course my internet chose yesterday to stop working so i am on my phone until the service guy fixes it. I'm really not getting the full effect on my phone so i hope the service guy is quick!!

Have we determined what kind of coffee pot is used? Ive seen both 4 cup classic syle pots and a coffee pot that pours into two separate cups...So not sure if it's standard filter or pods...

Has Disney decided if POP and AoA is going to be sister resorts? Just curious because I'm wondering if they are going to share buses. I heard that the bridge is now open..

Has Disney decided if POP and AoA is going to be sister resorts? Just curious because I'm wondering if they are going to share buses. I heard that the bridge is now open..

I don't know that their has been "official" word yet, but the main pool at AoA is gated and only for AoA guests, the Cars pool looks as though it may be fenced as well, and the buses are supposed to be separate according to several sources.
I think all that will be open to both resorts is the ability to walk over and use the food courts which technically can be done at any resort.

Sorry if this has been addressed...I read through a bunch of posts but didn't see any discussion about it.

Has anyone been able to score a discount for AoA yet? Maybe an AP rate or a FL resident rate or do the recent discounts not apply to AoA since it's a new resort?

We are going in Decemeber and would love to stay in one of the standard rooms. The rates really aren't bad, but if I might be able to get a discount, I can hold out a little longer.

Just booked with a Free Dining PIN for mid-November...and there were some December dates on it too so I assume as long as all the rooms being offered at AoA under the discount are not booked, they will eventually be released to the general public...good luck!

Yes we are flying southwest! It is a small world. I am happy to be getting in florida early but not looking forward to leaving home 2:30 in the morning. Really hoping we can get into our room early so we can unwind a little before going to parks. We will be staying in Little Mermaid. There are three of us. Myself, Dh and Dd (16). I will look for you at the airport!
