Yes we are flying southwest! It is a small world. I am happy to be getting in florida early but not looking forward to leaving home 2:30 in the morning. Really hoping we can get into our room early so we can unwind a little before going to parks. We will be staying in Little Mermaid. There are three of us. Myself, Dh and Dd (16). I will look for you at the airport!

I hear you about getting up we're staying in Pittsburgh the night before so we can park and fly from the hotel. We will have our Disney 2012 shirts on DH me DS14 DD14 DS8 . I am hoping to get in our room also but if not I will have our swimsuits in our carry on to unwind a little before hitting the parks.

Wow! I hope we all have a magical time and the weather is good. Last year we went in August and the heat, humidity and ran was terrible. Looking forward to lower crowds and some what better weather. We live about an hour north of Pittsburgh in Kittanning area!

nice to see the new pictures....now, I feel the need to add a day to our vacation so that I can get in to see the pool....the one thing that we were wanting to see and do the whole picture thing with....there is a story that would go with it-first "driving trip to Florida" and the only thing that kept my then soon to be 2yr old quiet was the Nemo movie.....long drive to and from Florida......really disapointed that they have keyed off the resort pool......if only the LM rooms werent so far from the main building and buses....

I sure hope the food court menu expands from what I just read on the "updated" menu. My kids do not want a chicken burger they want a hamburger & they don't want chicken on basmati rice they want chicken nuggets. My Dh will also not be thrilled with turkey bacon & chicken sausage. His vacations are for eating crap food as he sees fit.

As a person who doesn't eat red meat, I am beyond excited about having chicken sausage, tandori shrimp, mongolian fish, and all of those options so close! I hate being stuck eating all "fast food" on vacation. I also see options of pizza and burgers for the picky eaters, but I really hope they keep the good stuff and aren't tempted to go the way of the other food courts...

For sure; nuggets and burgers are just across the way at Pop! It's no wonder half the nation is obese and lying in hospitals in our late years - we bread and deep-fry everything and call it a "healthy meal" when we add a salad or some green beans.

I am curious about the queso fresco topping for the burgers. If that is queso like from a Mexican resaurant that will be amazing.

The gelato looks AMAZING!!!! I will be all over that!! I can't wait for more food reviews.

I am hoping to. I am playing chicken/airfare roulette with Southwest. Waiting to see if they have a birthday sale this year. I have always had luck with that in the past. I have my eyes of the 6:05am non-stop out of Pittsburgh with Southwest, but I sort of like the return flight times on Air-tran better.

Not on the kids menu, but there are regular burgers on the adult menu. There's also pizza and mac and cheese on the kids menu. I am not sure what the "chicken burger" is, but it may be just a breaded chicken patty on a bun. Not much different than a chicken nugget...

You cod always fly down on SW and back on Airtran. Hopefully you will get to fly when the rest of us southwest pa people do and we can have a AoA party on the plane!
