Seems Crazy Today (7/30)

I’ll admit I’ve only looked a handful of times, but it seems like lots of long lines today. What was the ticket price today? Was there something else happening today (some sort of anniversary event or massive ride downtimes) that caused it? Maybe I just looked at the wrong times and saw huge waits that were deceptive.

I wasn’t at the parks, but looking at Thrill Data wait times have been very average. Matterhorn stands out right now at 120 minutes but was 45-70 most of the day.

Matterhorn is long partially because it just re-opened and also because it is one of the few attractions with easy access during the nighttime entertainment.

Seems quite reasonable given the ticket price. Just goes to show the subjectivity in crowd levels. What I view as not crowded someone else may view as very crowded.

What wait times do you feel were exceptionally high?

I was in Disneyland yesterday and it seemed like a normal summer crowd day. Lot’s of little day campers in matching shirts. Matterhorn was down for a couple of hours. Beginning of the day: 9-1pm was super manageable.

My favorite time is weekends (Sat/Sun) in summer with high single day ticket prices and most Magic Keys blocked out it keeps crowds pretty reasonable. Weekdays are packed.
