Is AoA part of the Tables in Wonderland discount??!!

Thanks for the link. Sadly I still don't see kids burgers & chicken nuggets. I have a child with sensory issues so it looks like we can not stay here.

I am sure at some point soon we will head over there to eat. My son has sensory issues so I'll be sure to report back.

Not on the kids menu, but there are regular burgers on the adult menu. There's also pizza and mac and cheese on the kids menu. I am not sure what the "chicken burger" is, but it may be just a breaded chicken patty on a bun. Not much different than a chicken nugget...

If her son is anything like mine, it's more of a texture thing. The kids chicken nuggets are easier to chew with less breading while the adult nuggets are crunchier. Same with the burgers, the kid's burgers are usually thinner while the adult burgers are thicker. Then there is also the shape thing. Even though a chicken patty tastes just like a nugget, it is not shaped like a nugget and could possibly be met with great resistance. I've had to trick my son into thinking patties were nuggets and was successful by cutting them up into little bite size pieces so he couldn't see what the original shape was.
We do the same with fish, pork, and ham. It's all grilled chicken to him as long as it's cut into small pieces.

Any one else stalking the web for updated construction pics of the LM section? I sure hope it turns out to be as awesome as Nemo and Cars.

I am stalking my self checking in at LM Sept 28th.We will be able to swim at the Big Blue Pool right?

Bingo! I'll look forward to hearing your report. Thanks.

Oh my goodness, the food choices look AMAZING!! So excited to see something other than the usual plebeian choices of chicken nuggets, cheeseburgers and deep fried yuck!

I love that the kid's waffles are whole grain and that there are so many fresh fruit and veggie options. We don't vacation to eat garbage, and my kids would much prefer a bowl of fruit with yogurt than sugared cereal or a donut for breakfast.

Kudos to Disney for focusing on good nutrition and trying to minimize the trash food that's ruining our children's health. :thumbsup2

Here is some in depth stuff about the food.

As a person who doesn't eat red meat, I am beyond excited about having chicken sausage, tandori shrimp, mongolian fish, and all of those options so close! I hate being stuck eating all "fast food" on vacation. I also see options of pizza and burgers for the picky eaters, but I really hope they keep the good stuff and aren't tempted to go the way of the other food courts...

:thumbsup2

You cod always fly down on SW and back on Airtran. Hopefully you will get to fly when the rest of us southwest pa people do and we can have a AoA party on the plane!

I have been tracking SW promotions religiously and noticed that MCO has not been offered as a destination (at least from Austin) for months. I gave up and went with a good deal from Delta. I really like flying Jetblue, but they only have one flight a day that arrives late and leaves early. The last few years we have gotten super great deals from SW in late July/August.
Hope they come trough for you!

So excited about this hotel and thinking of booking it for a few days on top of my current booking just so we can swim in the big pool!

Does anyone think Disney will reduce this hotel anytime soon?

I have a request for anyone going to AOA by way of Magical Express (or opinions from those who have done ME to POP): ME goes to CBR very first (right?), but then, will it go to AOA or POP first?

Will it be so much trouble fo them to try something new? :confused3 I wish this country could get off the nugget craze.

Will it hurt them no...will it be trouble...yes. I would physically have to hold my DD down to force her to eat some of that stuff.

I personally don't like the choices...we won't be eating there at all as far as i can see, but that is no big deal to me. We have deluxe dining and I have enough meals planned that we will be plenty full with 2 TS a day with out needing the food court. Many of the places we will eat will have things she likes. (like steak). She'll have a good share of crap, but some healthy stuff too.
