Disneyland Reopening Speculation Superthread

I was "chatting" with a cast member on the app yesterday and was told I could buy tickets on the 15th but could not reserve until out of state restrictions were lifted.

I actually just heard this on a YouTube video today. They will sell tickets to anyone who wants to buy them, but won't allow reservations to be made by non residents.

I also heard that they will check for CA residency for EVERY adult in a party trying to enter the parks, not just the person who made the reservation.
 
Question and forgive me if it has been answered. I have been checking so many boards today. LOL.

We don't want op go until July. and then again maybe for Christmas. Has there been a definitive answer on how long a multi day pass is good for after its first use? Is it 14 days or end of year? I have heard both.

I believe tickets purchased on the 15th do not have the 13 day restriction but if you already have tickets those will continue to be subject to the 13 day rule. Please correct me if I'm wrong
 
One other weird question. Say you buy the park hooper...what if you leave to get food or go back to rest at the hotel.... could you locked out of both parks. or are you counted?
 
Late to the game here....on hold for over an hour at this point. If our tickets are linked in the app, we are good to go? We get an error when we try to link them on the DL website. We also do not see the availability calendar on the website. Is that because we have a 2 day ticket?

My DH is going to try to get us reservations on the 12th, but I am worried if there is an issue, because the account is under my name and I will be at work and unable to call if there is an issue.

I have not been able to keep up much this week with all the DL news as work has ben nuts! Thank you!!

Yes to your first question. I have the sense that it is best to have all tickets linked to one account that way that person can make reservations. The calendar is only for 1 day tickets so you are fine if you have a multi day! If you are worried just let you DH use your account to minimize any issues.

No definitive answer either way as of yet. Hopefully sometime early next week.

Mathematically, you'd have access to at least one of the two parks - they wouldn't open reservations again to fill your spot, so your spot would still be open somewhere. In practice, you should theoretically have access to your original park (the one you have a reservation for) for the entire day.

Personally, I doubt they'll let capacity ever get so close that it would be an issue. (I'm assuming they're keeping capacity low enough to be able to absorb it if one park pulls more parkhoppers than the other - and I suspect the Avengers Campus announcement was intended to balance that out.) You should be fine.

Strong rumors about the new tickets but it hasn't officially been confirmed yet. Seemingly confirmed on existing tickets.

Hey, in response to your question about tix linked on the app, I got an email from Get Away Today this afternoon instructing me to unlink my tix from the app and upload to the website since reservations would be done on the website, not the app....

Really? I just got off the phone with Disney and they said that Monday the reservation page will be set up for us to enter the tickets. Right now it isn't. Do you know how to unlink the tickets in the app? It doesn't look like you can...

They told me to get on the chat feature on the app to have a CM talk me through it and he unlinked them for me. Then he instructed me to go to the website and find the link feature to upload all my tix there. Each ticket has to have each person’s name too because I guess you can’t change it. I was able to link all my tix to the website after that, and then when I went back to the app I could see all the tix with each individuals name on it there too. So after linking to the website, the tix are on both the site and the app. I will try to show a pic of the email with instructions. It was pretty quick and the CM responded within minutes to help me out with the whole process.
 
It looks to me like they're not open on the 19th and 20th, not that they are sold out. It says "park closed" and if you look at the hours it doesn't list any hours.

I saw the same thing from them but chatted with Disney and they said no need to remove them they will show up on Monday.
So now there’s that to worry about all weekend!

So I got confirmation from the app that reservations have to be made via the website, not the app. But no help on how to unlink my tickets from the app. So now I have another chat going waiting to see if they can help me and I'm on the phone. I trust what everybody is saying they were told, but now I'm anxious about whether I have to do it or it will just update before park reservations go live on Monday! My tickets on the app now already are assigned to each individual in my family.
