Disneyland Reopening Speculation Superthread

Where on the website do your tickets appear?
No where, just like before. For some weird reason there is no option to see tix on the website. But I went through the steps to link all the tix and it said confirmed and that they had been added to my account on the site. Then out of curiosity I went back on the app to see if my tix still showed up on there and they still did. This was after the CM had talked me through the steps and unlinked them for me. So either way, they’re still visible on the app after linking them to the website.

Ok, just got off the phone with Disney and am reiterating what others have said. If you get the message on the website that your tickets are already linked to an account AND you can see them on the app, they are there. We just won't be able to see them on the website until park reservations open Monday morning. She didn't say they need to be removed from the app though. And I'm guessing that's true if they're just showing up again on the app for people the minute they link them on the website.

Yeah that does make sense, since you’re never able to see them on the website regardless. Maybe it’s not even a big deal and we’re all just overthinking it? Lol. Either way I think we’re all just spinning our wheels now trying to avoid an ever bigger headache later haha. Here’s to hoping we’re all stressing over nothing and it’ll be smooth sailing come Monday. Good luck to everyone! I know we’re all just so excited and anxious to finally get back to our happy place and bring a little magic back into our lives 🤗❤️

Absolutely!!!! I just want to have a smooth process.
I keep hearing horror stories about Disney's website and have never waited for any special ticket thing with them so I'm nervous! Lol therefore, I will be off of here until Monday! Thank you guys for all the updates and info so far, I really appreciate it!❤❤

So I got confirmation from the app that reservations have to be made via the website, not the app. But no help on how to unlink my tickets from the app. So now I have another chat going waiting to see if they can help me and I'm on the phone. I trust what everybody is saying they were told, but now I'm anxious about whether I have to do it or it will just update before park reservations go live on Monday! My tickets on the app now already are assigned to each individual in my family.
Ours are linked to each family member too. I think when we bought them we assigned each ticket to one of us. No clue if I should attempt to unlink and relink in the website. Omg. So frustrating!! Disney is consistently inconsistent. Lol. Good luck to everyone on Monday!!!

Yes to your first question. I have the sense that it is best to have all tickets linked to one account that way that person can make reservations. The calendar is only for 1 day tickets so you are fine if you have a multi day! If you are worried just let you DH use your account to minimize any issues.

Just to confirm, the blockout dates on the May and June 2021 calendars do not apply to the multi day (2,3,4, 5 day) tickets?

If the functions remain the same as MDE, the reservations will need to be with the same account of the primary ticket holder.... essentially finally becoming more like MDE than the quirky ways the DL app has.

That said, I am now unable to add the attached ticket to a secondary account. That ability is now lost and acting more like MDE.

My guess is on Monday the updates to the website will result in acting more like WDW reservations and ticket linking. The URL landing pages all correspond to disney world site so far. At least this is updating on Monday instead of Wednesday

I can say that there's something happening on the backend -- now if you're linking a ticket online, it'll show that it's already linked elsewhere if so. It'll pull the actual ticket AND the first/last name.

If it's already linked to YOUR ACCOUNT -- it'll return a message that it's already linked to an account but not return ANY information on the ticket itself --- weird, but that's the error to verify it's on your account.

Awesome! I just tried it again on the website and got the second error. It says the ticket or pass entered has already been linked. So hopefully we are good to go....☺️

So is it a smart idea to go ahead and buy tickets now, even if they days you want are not until July or December? I mean will there infinite number of tickets or will they have to halt tickets sells?

Have they indicated anywhere how long you have to CANCEL a reservation? Is there a penalty at some point? Do you think it will be like the Flex where there’s action as people cancel/grab those spots?

(I assume EVENTUALLY it will be that way; I’m wondering about upfront...)

Curious about what happens if, say, May 1 suddenly shows torrential downpours all day. Can people holding May 1 cancel their reservations, opening them up for people willing to brave the rain?
