Disney Visa Rewards Card

DH and I have always ordered our rewards cards in advance, but this year's trip kind of crept up on us. When we called to order DH's, the woman we spoke to said it wouldn't arrive in time and she suggested that we just get one when we get to WDW. She said we can get the card at "customer relations" outside of the parks and then just call to have the rewards transferred over.

Has anyone done this? Can you please tell me where exactly this can be done on property?

You can do it at Guest Relations at the gate of any of the theme parks. Also at the GR locations at DTD. I've read lots of folks here who've done it successfully. You just show your Visa card and your ID and they'll give you a rewards card. I think then you just have to call to load your dollars.
