Yep. That's all I can find as well. Having said that. He showed me what he received in the mail. It's $200 gc with no annual fee

I received the same $200 gc offer and no annual fee for the first year when I completed online check-in for AoA in 2014. It was a pop-up when I went to add in payment info.

And, rather than a gc, there was a glitch and I received $200 off of my $500 credit card balance. DH applied for his own card and received the $200 gc as did my DD. So, family-wise, we had a nice kickback for the card.

While a Disney Visa might have some small perks that go with it like the merchandise discount and 0% vacation financing, we found it easier and faster to accumulate rewards on our Capital One Venture card and use that one exclusively now. Points don't expire and you can use them for anything travel related, so we usually use them to cover our airfare. No restrictions either.

I ADORE my Venture card. I put anything I can on it and pay it off each month. It paid for our airfare to Orlando for our next trip.

I have been on the fence about getting the Disney Visa, just for some of the perks at WDW.

I have been on the fence about getting the Disney Visa, just for some of the perks at WDW.

I have both and just prefer the Venture card. We found it took much longer to accrue any kind of significant reward amount on the Disney card and the interest rate on the Disney card was also higher than our Venture card. Pros and cons to all of it!

We used our points to cover fun purchases and tips that were charged to the room during or last trip. I'm planning an adult only trip in Nov. My DH and I will use the 15% discount on several adult tours.
