We use our primarily for the Rewards Points/Dollars. I just transferred about $90 to the Reward Card that we'll use to shop with a little over a month. Whenever we go to WDW we use the Disney Visa so that we will get points back to use on our next trip.

Thats a great idea! I just realized I only have 11.00 right now. I had been using my universal one for my school beacuse I didnt know about the rewards on the disney one! Now I know for the future!

When we start planning a trip we put everything on the card. We just make sure it gets paid off at the end of the month. In a few months time we can come up with about $100 in Disney Dollars, which are great for merchandise, or snacks. That way we take very little cash with us. The best we have done is this year though. I watched for the codes for the card holders for October travel. When they came out we got to upgrade to AKL savannah view and saved around $700.

That's great, but sad to say I remember when those behind the scenes tours were free!! They used to last about an hour or so and we had one with just our family. It was really neat. Have a great time!!

I got a $15 gift card as part of the rewards with Disney, and it says I can use it for any Disney stuff...even in WDW. Did anyone else get this?

Yes I got one, I've only had my card for about 3 weeks though.

It is on your statement. You can also call 800 300 8575. Pretty sure that's the phone number. I think it's option 4 to find out about Disney Dollars. Each card will have its own. They do expire (long expirations) and can be transferred to a card to use for Disney stuff.

The expiration date for dollars not transferred to a Disney Rewards Card will be on your statement. I don't think you can transfer unless there are at least $25 on the statement. When you are ready, you can transfer the dollars by phone or online (I guess didn't do it online). Once you have the card easy to do on the phone. My rewards that were earned in Aug of this year have Aug 2012 for the expiration date. If you transfer the dollars to a Disney Rewards Card, what you need to actually use them, the card will have an expiration date. This expiration date will be much sooner than the actual expiration date for not transferred dollars. Mine is 12/08. I got the card in July. So don't transfer dollars to the rewards card unless you will be using them in a short time. You can refill the Rewards Card after it's used up but need a NEW one when it is near the expiration date. Hope this helps!!

Just received 2 emails from Disney Visa. One is for $30 off The Lion King on Broadway. The other is for $500 Disney Dollars if you buy the DVC. During the past month I also received coupons to give to others for the person to open a Disney Visa and receive a $25 Gift Card (yes not dollars) and me to receive $25 Disney Dollars. I did get 50 Disney Dollars from 2 people getting the card and the new holders received their 25 cards. It was very quick, I may add. Card was opened, used once and the gift card received all within 2-3 weeks.

I just used my card for the first time to pay my deposit on my WDW vacation. Will this be considered a "purchase" so I can get my $25.00 gift card?

Only if you used the codes required to do so (open your Disney Card). I don't know how you applied for your card. If you did it through the offer and had the code, yes. I'm sure there are other offers for new cards and the one I mentioned was one of them that I received. Hope you signed up with some type of free incentive!! But to answer your question, if this same offer, yes any use of the card will qualify and fulfil the requirements. You should also get zero interest for 6 months and Disney dollars for your deposit.

Yes, we had the code that gave you a $25.00 gift card and gave one to the friend that referred you. So I should receive my card within a couple of weeks since I booked my trip last week and used my Disney Visa.

I would think yes. My son applied, got the card, used it and received the gift card all within a few weeks. I don't know if they send the gift cards out monthly or just when you make your first charge, regardless you should get it promptly. If you don't receive it within a few weeks, I would call them. Have fun using the card to rack up Dinsey Dollars!!
