Any thoughts on Disney Quest for a 4 year old boy? We have the Magic Plus tickets, so we wouldn't have to pay to get in, but we don't even own a video game system so I am afraid he will be baffled.

We will be going the second week of May if that makes a difference.

Thanks! (And I must say I have learned so much from these boards!)

I am bumping this up as I would like to know same thing - DQ for a 5 year old boy. However, our son loves video games and is actually pretty good (he beats me all the time!).

Also, we would have to pay for tickets and travel from Universal to go? Worth it?

It really does depend on the child. I have one who loved it at that age, and one who did not and was bored. If they have an interest in video games, then they will most likely enjoy their time there.

If your child doesn't like loud noise than the will probably not like it. It is a huge video arcade but there are lots of fun things to do as a family, a raft ride, pinball, bumper cars, and my favorite the pirates. I wouldn't suggest the virtual reality games for them though. My brother loved it at a young age but he was already familiar with video games and was the youngest in a family so it was also being big like his brother.

In my opinion, it's more for older kids and adults. Your child will have to be able to play the games by himself. There is a section where they have the Chuckie Cheese type games, but you have to pay extra to play those. There are a lot of standard pizza parlor video games, including pinball and air hockey. Even some of the family type games like Pirates is hard for little kids.

Frankly, I wouldn't waste my money for Disney Quest especially for a 4 year old. There's very little they can really do. (I have a 4 year old myself and won't go there in Nov when I'm going). There's also little I like to do. This is really a teen/young adult type of place. Although Cyber Space Mountain is cool.
