I never knew that the carpet ride was so much fun....guess it depends on the carpet. My mom, sister and nephew got the "good" carpet!

If I hadn't seen so many of your photos, I'd think you have a great scanner where you've scanned in postcards! Great job, as always!

I am a total novice (just love taking photos of my kids and vacations), and I only have a Sony pocketable point and shoot. Looking at all the great shots on here (and yes, I know it takes more than a good camera, but that does make a difference, esp on night shots, I think), I'm starting to wish I had something a little better. I just can't see managing a larger camera (with all the other stuff I have to carry around for two toddlers), and getting enough time for taking pictures. Any advice from anyone out there, or am I better off waiting a bit until the kids are older and I am less of a pack mule on vacations?I can always enjoy everyone else's photos in the meantime!
