I never knew that the carpet ride was so much fun....guess it depends on the carpet. My mom, sister and nephew got the "good" carpet!

Here you go senecabeach :thumbsup2

That's an awesome photo :thumbsup2 one of the best fireworks behind the castle shots I've seen...

One suggestion though, the picture looks even better if you straighten the castle a little. (I already did it with my editor to see what it looked like (I'm kind of a freak, I'm bothered by crooked castles, I see them all the time, and I always have to straighten mine out too because for some reason Cinderella Castle almost ALWAYS photographs crooked. I don't know why it's a really weird phenomenon))...

If I hadn't seen so many of your photos, I'd think you have a great scanner where you've scanned in postcards! Great job, as always!

Thanks! You don't know how much that means to me. This is like my favorite hobby right now so to hear someone say that really makes me want to do more and get better.

This is about as good as I get with a fully automatic pocketable point and shoot...

I am a total novice (just love taking photos of my kids and vacations), and I only have a Sony pocketable point and shoot. Looking at all the great shots on here (and yes, I know it takes more than a good camera, but that does make a difference, esp on night shots, I think), I'm starting to wish I had something a little better. I just can't see managing a larger camera (with all the other stuff I have to carry around for two toddlers), and getting enough time for taking pictures. Any advice from anyone out there, or am I better off waiting a bit until the kids are older and I am less of a pack mule on vacations? :rotfl: I can always enjoy everyone else's photos in the meantime! :goodvibes

Anyway... one of my favorites of my son on his 1st trip a year ago. I think he wanted to move in. :)

Not that I compare myself to the pros on here, but I've done OK my point and shoots. My two most recent trips I had Kodak z700 (I think), and I just recently bought a Panasonic Lumix tz1. I love my new camera because it is much smaller than my Kodak was, but still has 10X optical zoom. Quality wise, it mostly blows the old one away (but I'm still working out how to perfect all the settings and which works best with what light settings). The reason I got it is because it is one of only a few cameras out there right now that have such high zoom in pocket size.
Just my two cents :cool2:
And to everyone else, I've never added anything on here, but come here almost daily to see the great pics!! I'll have some soon enough!!
