Is anyone able to access the park
Pass system today? It’s been down for me (Olaf error and the clock) wondering if they are changing things?

I know this is from yesterday but I really need to emphasize how terrible that site is. It's notoriously bad, literally people just making things up with no sources second and third hand in order to generate clicks. Textbook clickbait not to be taken seriously. Literally nowhere else is reporting that so it should be ignored.

I wish the Disboards would honestly ban it.

my bad.... saw the news posted somewhere else and just grabbed a link to share. not really hip to what's "good" or "terrible" I guess. I'll go back to just lurking on this thread :thumbsup2

I can't get to it via Chrome. I get Olaf losing his head.

I opened Microsoft Edge and it worked for me. Weird.

I think it's funny when Disney Blogs/Vlogs complain about resellers making money off of Disney and Disney fans. Pot meet Kettle. If it's not a limited edition item then Disney can simply produce more. If someone wants to pay a premium for the service then it is what it is. If Disney wants to stop it they can. If fans want to stop it they can as well by not buying at marked up prices.
Agreed. All these pics floating around of people buying merch as though they’ve caught someone stealing the Crown Jewels are ridiculous.

If people want to complain, the blame lies with people willing to pay a premium for these items. Resellers are not the scum of the earth. They’ve found a market and they’re filling a consumer desire.

If Disney doesn’t like it, they can stop it too. But Disney knows what sells their products best and that’s the idea that it’s hard to get so better buy while you can. Put that stuff on shopDisney with sufficient supply and all that demand goes away.

Pick one. People walking out of shops with garbage bags full of merch is absolutely ridiculous. Disney doesn't care as long as they get the money but eBay pirates are and always will be scum. They create the market in the first place by cleaning the shelves out daily when the merch drops. (As anyone who tried to fairly purchase Loki ears this summer can attest.) People have no choice but to buy from them.

Pre-Covid, CA started revoking APs of people doing this crap and it's past time FL did the same but they never will because like I said Disney just cares that the merch is getting sold. They'll never take a hard line against resellers because they just want money.
