I haven't used my Alaska companion fare since they changed it. It became more expensive to book with the companion fare than to just book another ticket. Makes zero sense. Will have to see how Atmos Rewards ends up before I would think about getting another Alaska card.

Wow, Alaska just made a "significant schedule change" to our December Idaho Falls to HNL trip - a 6 hour trip just turned into a 16 hour trip . Guess I'll be cancelling and rebooking on another airline - significantly higher cost for 7 of us... Flying just isn't easy anymore. Thing is they didn't even notify me, I saw it myself - they said their policy is to notify 60 days out.

June flights drop the lowest they have been for an August flight to Hawaii, up to 50% less than what I was seeing previously. Hawaii (for my routes) doesnt tend to work like all other destinations where flight prices increase the closer you get, it's quite opposite.

Good to know! We’re planning an August ‘27 trip and have no idea what good booking times are for Hawaii.
