anyone know if waffle fries are still a thing at Disney? they used to be at Golden Oak Outpost in MK, but they don't carry them anymore (not since the shutdown). not sure where else to look.

Salt & Straw May Limited Edition Flavors



First up is the Jasmine Milk Tea & Chocolate Almond Stracciatella, which is described as a “delectably simple” jasmine tea ice cream with chocolate almond stracciatella.



Then there’s the Pistachio Rose Water with Strawberry Mochi— this one is pistachio ice cream with homemade strawberry mochi and swirls of rosewater white chocolate.



Next up was the Rhubarb Crumbles with Toasted Anise! It is a vanilla ice cream with ribbons of homemade rhubarb jam, loaded with toasted anise crumble.



Then there’s the Saffron & Honey with Crystalized Flower Petals, which is a honey and saffron ice cream with candied cornflower petals.



And, lastly is Mathilde’s Hibiscus & Coconut Sherbet. This one is a vegan coconut cream–infused sherbert with Hibiscus & Ginger Brew from Mathilde’s Kitchen.

Gideon’s Bakehouse May Offerings



Gideon’s Bakehouse has announced that the May limited-edition cookie flavor is Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl! This nearly 1/2-pound cookie is made with a combination of peanut butter dough swirled with triple chocolate dough. Plus, it’s topped with chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and house-made candied peanuts.



Gideon’s will also be serving up a new cake flavor for the month of May. The Peanut Butter & Jelly Cake! The cake features three layers of vanilla cake as the “bread,” smothered in peanut butter buttercream and filled with channels of grape jelly!

This didn't take Ample Hill's spot - it's at Disney Springs. Ample Hills was replaced by a generic Disney-run ice cream place. Ample Hills filed for bankruptcy and closed a lot of stores.

RUMOR: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind to Feature On-Ride Photo

According to BlogMickey.com sources, Disney will bring back on-ride photos after a drought in recent years. The last on-ride photo to be implemented at Walt Disney World was for Slinky Dog Dash when Toy Story Land opened in 2018. Before Slinky Dog Dash, you’d have to go all the way back to 2014 and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train to find a new attraction built with an on-ride photo. Frozen Ever After has an on-ride photo, but it wasn’t a new build, even if the on-ride photo was new.

Either way, if sources are correct, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will bring back on-ride photos to Walt Disney World attractions after a bit of a lull.

Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360 Closing June 27 for Likely Use During Food and Wine Festival

According to Disney, Canada Far and Wide will be closing on June 27th at EPCOT. While not explicitly stated, it’s likely that the closure will be temporary as Disney prepares to use the space again for the upcoming EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, which begins July 14th and runs through November 19, 2022.

I'm bemoaning the fact that we lost Ample Hills (for whatever reason) and this is the garbage we get instead.
