I bet it’s villains themed. Where else would the supervillain lair be but on top of the tallest building?

If they rethemed TOTW to being a Villains Lair, that would be the one thing that would tip me over the edge towards buying DVC. I’d even buy the overpriced direct for that.

Concept art for the retheme of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster confirms the new Avengers version of the attraction will feature both Iron Man and Captain Marvel. As we’ve seen before, the ride vehicles resemble Iron Man’s suit. It will have a light-up LED façade. The marquee was recently installed.

Mission Equipment

The main shop of Avengers Campus will be Mission Equipment. As seen in the concept art, it is inside the Stark Industries warehouse, similar to California’s W.E.B. Suppliers.

PYM Kitchen

PYM Kitchen will be a buffet inspired by Ant-Man, Paris’ version of Pym Test Kitchen with food large and small. We can see some familiar dishes in the concept art. Read our review of lunch and dinner at Pym Test Kitchen.

Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure

Disneyland Paris will have their own version of WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure called Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure. Though it has a different name, it will be an identical attraction.

Stark Factory

Stark Factory will be a quick-service restaurant unique to this version of Avengers Campus. The giant Hulkbuster Iron Man suit is on display at the center of the factory-themed dining room.

In an odd timing coincidence, just last night I was at the Golden Corral pictured in the lower right-hand corner (after spending the day at Aquatica).

Reminder that RESCUE RANGERS will start streaming on D+ overnight. Most of the early reviews have been pretty good and it's currently trending well (currently Certified Fresh) on Rotten Tomatoes:

Rotten Tomatoes: Rescue Rangers

I'm hoping to watch it tomorrow after work as I need an excuse to crack open my case of Brooklyn Summer Ale

Not exactly news, but I caught Rescue Rangers last night and I though it was really *really* good! But, I think there will be some mixed feelings from this film as I wouldn't actually consider it a Rescue Rangers movie. It's probably more of a spiritual sequel to Roger Rabbit in tone and a satire on the animation/reboot industry than a true Rescue Rangers film. You'll probably know within the 1st 15 minutes whether this movie is for you.

This could have been released theatrically with the level of talent involved. Also an insane amount of Easter eggs and deep cuts (Avengers: United they Stand !?) that had me constantly pausing and rewinding. The writing did almost try to get too clever and in-jokey at times, but I still loved it!

I knew from the trailer that this was NOT for me. To me it seems like they are insulting Rescue Rangers and the characters just seemed off - mostly due to the voices. Couple that with the fact that I am not a big fan of Mulaney or Samberg, and I know I'd be on the other half of your audience.

I enjoyed it more than I thought (feared) I would. There were some genuinely clever bits.

I think the high critic scores are well deserved as the film did a good job for what it set out to do. But, I am surprised with how high the audience scores are trending as I figured the fans would be pretty split on this film's take. With some tweaks, the same thing could have been done with any of the Disney Afternoon shows. In fact, there is a post credits scene that some say is hinting towards a sequel ... but I read it as a clever call back to the beginning of the film basically saying we could have done the same with any of these shows.

Hopefully this movie will lead to more interest in resurrecting the Disney Afternoon stuff, as I enjoyed the recent DuckTales show and was hoping they would continue that work on D+
