Disney Mix Max what else can you watch?

My Targets don't mark stuff down like some of the others who post on the boards. Seems like they all get the great mark downs and my store still has them at full price or 30 percent off. I think I need a job at Target just so I can know when the mark downs are.

Hey Mix Max owners - when you play the plain music SD cards on the mix max, does the screen show you anything? Like maybe what song it is or the artist?

I'm in the heart of Targetland so I've got many to look at, some don't mark down as well as others, I've never been able to find a pattern though - sometimes the stores that never have decent clearance will have 75% off great things, but it's hit or miss.

The Mix Max shows this for music on mine with a blue background:

I can go back and look at my list of songs and the music keeps playing. On video, it stops when I go back.

My daughter and I went out trying to find some videos on clearance and they were all full price. I have 1 more Target to check tomorrow, maybe i'll find something there.
I did end up buying the Pocket DVD Wizard just a bit ago and am currently doing my first dvd on there. We'll see how that goes!

Hope it goes well! We didn't own Freaky Friday on DVD so I bought it, I could've got it from TiVo but it'd be full of commercials. I put some Disney DVDs on an SD card yesterday and of course I had to check it out first :rotfl:, so I fell asleep watching Enchanted, woke up with headphones wrapped around my neck, now that would be an embarrassing way to go.

woo hoo. :woohoo: I scored 1 tink and 2 pirates at Target 24.98 each!
the pirates are for a frien for her boys but tink is for us.

Hey, who wants to be an awesome DIS friend and hook me up with a $24.98 Mix Max? I'll pay for postage and an extra $5 for gas to go to the store.

I'm so tired of driving to 3 different Targets, I'm to the point I can't afford to waste gas to do this anymore. My Targets just aren't marking them down. :(

I have to point out that ripping copywritten DVDs to other media forms is illegal in the U.S. - even if you own a valid copy of the original movie. What you do IRL is none of our business, but the DIS cannot allow links to software and instructions for performing these conversions to be posted here. Please respect this rule and refrain from posting this information. Your cooperation is appreciated.

I'm really sorry. I didn't realize it was illegal to make a copy of a DVD I owned for my own personal use. :guilty:

I apologize and will cease and desist.

Thank you for the warning.

Holy smokes! Did anyone see this? For whatever strange reason, the mix-max's all SHOT UP to $80!! Incl. the HSM ones that were previously being clearanced? What gives? I wonder if they're about to come out with some new movies?

I put home movies on mine, also I have converted some youtube videos using a site called keepvid.com It is pretty time consuming, converting movies but I like fiddling with digital video- if you are not into that, then the mixmax isn't a good choice for someone who wants to put a lot of video on their player.

I thought you could legally make one copy of dvds you own- no?

I think it is still legal to make a backup copy on to a DVD but not another media like SD cards.
