Yes, I finally got some resolution. I had ordered some discontinued items from them, including a toggle bracelet. I ordered the bracelet in the 7.9 inch size, but they sent me the smaller size. When I called, I was first told that since it was a discontinued item, they wouldn't take it back, and they didn't have the correct size in stock any longer. They made a mistake and sent me the wrong thing, and they weren't going to make it right!I let them know that was unacceptable, and the girl told me she would discuss it with the woman who usually handles things, to see if there was anything they could do. Got a phone call back, and was told that by some strange coincidence, someone else had called and received a bracelet that was too big, and if I wanted to send mine back, they would have her return hers and switch them out. Sounds to me that they got our orders mixed up, but they claim I didn't specify a size. I know that I did, because I had my college age DS get my other chamilia bracelet out of my jewelry box and measure it for me. He was there when I placed the order, and agrees that I selected the 7.9 inch size. Anyway, the bottom line is that I received the correct size in the end. But I had to pay the postage to return it, then the postage for them to send the new one out. With all that added expense, the "sale" price wasn't much better than the regular price.
I also ordered some charms, and they were fine, other than the fact that they were packaged similarly to what others have reported. The other websites I order from always package the charms in nice Chamilia packaging. They were also slow to get the order to me, although had everything else gone okay, I would have overlooked that. It just made things worse along with all the other problems.
In the end, I got what I ordered (albeit at an inflated cost). But I probably won't order from these people again because of the hassle I went through. On a happier note, my DH felt bad for me and bought me a bunch of Christmas themed charms for the new bracelet I was starting.![]()
Wow! That is really bad customer service. There is no way you should have been charged shipping for their mistake.
I noticed when I purchased from there that you can buy the Chamilia gift boxes separately. I thought that was a bit strange. I know from my local jeweler that the gift boxes are expensive, but they should at least package them in the little cardboard envelopes when you buy them.
Nice job DH! can't wait to see pics!
