DH and I have gone several times in May. That is always our winter vacation from northern Minnesota.... By the time I get him to commit to taking another Disney vacation, the earliest dates to stay there are in May!
I can't give a judgement on weather in May, coming from northern MN. It has always seemed perfect to me! Spring doesn't start here until at least then.
You Boston people must be expecting the snow storm we are having now. We have had several this year, so late in the season. Our schools are starting late today (rarely happens) and it's still snowing.
I will be in WDW the first week of May this year with a lady friend. We picked that week to celebrate our birthdays!

I will say it got uncomfortably hot standing watching Ds do JTA. Glad I wasn't in a robe!
. Anyone dance for the Boston ballet company, I did for 22 years, if you ever saw the nutcracker in the 1970 or 1980's you probably saw me. When in Disney may 9th thru 22, look for a very cute white lab, that will be me holding the handle, she is my guide or eyes. Have fun Boston we should all meet up.
I go on vacation to get away from the rain.
