Disney in May

Over the years we have gone in May many times. ALL were great! The only time we enjoy as much as May is in the fall during the Food and Wine Festival. We are going April 30th to May 10th this year.

Just booked May 30th-June7th. being the week after Memorial Day weekend im hoping it was a good choice. It's myself and the wife with no kids(first time in 11 years):cool1:

so looking forward to this-:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I've been going to WDW in early May since 2006. I have if we have a cold spring here in Massachusetts then I have a harder time adjusting to the heat at WDW. I have had days in the high 90's which feels very HOT compared to the 40's I might be leaving at home.

Crowds are moderate. Not too crazy busy but not empty.

Thank you all for your help! we are driving down so we will arrive on May 18 and leave the 25th. Our plan is Magic Kingdom on Sunday cuz thats "Disney"regardless to my 2 yr old. Then Wed we have reservations at Hollywood & Vine for breakfast then spend day at the park hollywood studios. Not sure of we will do any other days at parks yet. But we have a lot to do at our timeshare as well. First time there as guests of owners.

We are from Massachusetts also! We live in Tyngsboro. What part are you from? Coming home from hot weather to cold weather in May is depressing isn't it?

My family has always gone in the summer when I was a kid, but last year was my first adult trip in May and loved it! Weather was perfect and crowds were manageable. Going again this year the last week of May!

South shore. I'll be dreaming of Disney tomorrow night! Those couple of warm days we had were such a tease! Now it feels like spring won't get here.

Yea, I know what you mean... Spring feels soooo far away now..

Get ready to dig out again! Another storm is do to hit Tuesday..

I'm so looking forward to not having snow out my window.. And magic kingdom instead!

Today in DC we have SNOW Blah  It just makes me more anxious for my May trip!! :cool1: We are going May 16-18 and I have been told that it is a great time to visit.

May is a GREAT time to go! Hot enough so that when you get to those attractions with A/C you truly appreciate it, but not too hot that you feel like you're going to pass out half way down main street! :)

I'm planning an early May trip for next year and think it will go really well with our touring style as we like to hit the parks from rope drop until about 1 pm then go back to the resort for swimming.

With the exception of one trip in November, I have always gone in May, typically the last week merging into the first week of June. I LOVE going this time of year. I am really cold natured and I can say that in May, I have only needed a jacket inside the buildings, but never outside. We usually experience pretty heavy crowd volumes but nothing too hard to handle! I hope you have a magical time and that you enjoy the sunshine and warmth of the South!pixiedust:
