One of my favorite Disney Bloggers,(Disney Tourist Blog) just posted on his Facebook Page in detail, how to save money on Disney Giftcards. Including Target Redcard and ebay ebucks. Not to sound stupid or naive, but how many people actually talk about the ebay churning method and how to do it? I learned by reading this post and all you guys' helpful advice.....didn't realize there might be people outside our bubble and love of Disney that do it too. Now, just hoping one of the coupon bloggers doesn't pick it up too!

The only thing stupid about the process is blogging it to the world. People don't get it.

I'm pretty sure this churning is on its last legs...just look at the number of posts on this thread in the last month. Way more than it used to be...oh well, it was good while it lasted.

I agree, but then again it's back from the dead for a bit so live it while it's good!

Between this and the people who say they get the whole 5% at target when they pay mostly with a gift card I'm convinced there are simply a lot of people who are really bad at math.

There is as much wrong info out there as there is right. People really just want to broadcast their ideas. They're not content making money, they feel the need to broadcast. Broadcasting wrong info like the 5% in store w/ GC/RC split is just great.

Yeah, my order from gcm showed as delivered in CA yesterday (I live in MO). After a moment of panic and a frantic email, the status has now changed to delivery in MO today.

The bulk of my funds were supposed to arrive from GCM today, on 5/3, but is tied up in transit it looks like until tomorrow! I had a small order of $150 that was supposed to arrive on 4/30, but the last tracking on 4/29 puts it in Denver, CO with no further information. I have another small order of $300 that might arrive today, but who knows? At 8% bonus Bucks, I'm really tempted to put in some money OOP just so this bonus doesn't go to waste!

I did some churning in Target's store yesterday but they were super busy and I didn't want to get unwanted attention buying $900 worth of ebay with GC's so I only did $400 in store. I came home and placed an online order for another $400 of ebay (two $200's). That was at 5pm. I bought like 8-9 other items I needed also. The whole order still says "order created". I got notice of the ebates about an hour after placing the order as well as the email that says "a shipment will be coming your way soon". But the GC's haven't been delivered. Anyone had this happen? What to do??

I'm kinda losing hope that GCM is going to restock. I'm all converted and ready to order, but I'm not willing to deal with $50 Target GCs. It's such a hassle with target only allowing 4 GCs per order. I guess if they don't restock, I'll wait for the next offer. Sigh

With as many promos as we have been getting lately, I would wait as well. But keep checking GCM as it seems many times they restock on the second day of the promo.

I hear ya.. I'm thinking of waiting too. I made $48 in Ebay bucks yesterday so I call that a win, if I can do the other $500 I have today that would be great, but I'm not willing to risk a bunch of Target orders because I have $50 gift cards.. I don't think so!

Same here.

I went ahead and bought 9 $100 target gift cards last night because it's only around a $3 difference with shipping. Figured the $100 cards were going to go fast since this is getting more popular. I can see this being much harder to get the $150 cards as it seems like the demand is going up for them.

I've come to realize an additional downside to buying the $100s over the $150s. With only 4 Target gift cards per transaction, you're limited to buying $400 worth of merchandise at a time. Yes, you can combine gift cards, but that's an additional hassle as well.

So while not enough to stop me, it does slow me down, forcing me to run more transactions through than I otherwise would.

I just tried that and I get the same message. Considering just canceling the order but scared my GC's will end up in limbo land and I'll have to call Target.

OMG! So mad right now! I waited around all morning for UPS to deliver $1K in Target GCs from GCM. I finally got fed up and went to leave to run a short errand at 11 AM. Just as I was turning out of my development, I saw the UPS truck pulled over up the street. So, I turned around and headed back to my house. I waited 20 minutes for him to finally get to my house and another 10 minutes for him to come walk over to my car with a Target package and no GCM envelope.

He told me that he doesn't know where it is!!!!!!!!

So, I wasted a whole morning waiting for the delivery that never came and UPS has lost $1K in gift cards!!!!!! I'm hoping that the envelope just didn't make it on the truck and will be rescheduled for tomorrow but I hate the thought of waiting around for another day, wondering whether they actually have the envelope.

Actually, the package that he did delivered was originally scheduled for SurePost (delivery by USPS), but since a truck was coming to my house to deliver the GCM envelope they put the other package on the truck as well. He knew that it was supposed to be on his truck and that he needed to obtain a signature. So far, the status of the package has not been updated. It still says that it is on the truck for delivery. I'm sure that it will change once he finishes his route and files his daily report.

How do you reroute it? I had to do it once and they charged me $5.

Make sure when you Change Delivery, you click and use the "Pickup my Package at a UPS location." I believe using the rerouting via "Deliver my package to another address" charges you the $5.00.

For those who use amazon as a part of their churn, what GC do you use? reputable seller? Interested in adding that step. I am so new but I finally got an ebucks offfer so I want to use it.

I usually do Ebay > Gamestop > Amazon. You can buy Amazon gift cards at Gamestop as the Kindle cards work on anything at Amazon. YMMV on buying cards with cards at Gamestop, though.

You'd be stuck at a dead end though as IIRC you can't purchase cards with cards on Amazon anymore... unless you're looking to purchase something specific on Amazon.
