Well we finally had success tonight converting the rest of my mom's GS GC at a GS about 15 minutes away in MO. So glad its still an option, but I may wait a bit before I try again.

As I was trying to quickly read thru the thread before work this afternoon, and saw the converting ebucks to Ebay cards, I was wondering this, as well! And I think some did do this.

And, not to get caught with a card I couldn't use, I called my local Gamestop tonight. I called and said I had a large GS gc I wanted to use, but wasn't sure what I could use it on. He said, Oh, you can use it on anything in the store that we sell. So, I asked what they sell there besides games. He said games, game equipment, movies, all sorts of gift cards, (and some other stuff I don't remember). So, I said that's great, thank you, and he said yep, you're welcome, anything we sell can be paid for with the GS gc, so come on in. He was very friendly!
So for now, my GS is good to go, which I'm happy about! But, then I tried to go buy that PPDG gc I had said I had, to spend my Ebucks and it won't let me buy any at all! I click proceed to checkout and it says up at the top 'Something went wrong. Please try to checkout again". And the top right side, it says Error Codes: 70245 70358 TRANSACTION_REFUSED. Ugh! No idea why it's doing that, anyone else have this problem? I even tried to go to a new browser and that didn't help. I haven't bought the GS cards on my account before. I've never had any problem buying any gc's for these promos we've been doing. For that last promo, I did a few GS churns but I was using my DD25's account. I am going to try to go in and use her ebucks there and see how that goes later.

I also just tried on my account to buy the EBay digital gc from PPDG and it does the same thing! I can't imagine what's up! I really don't wanna have to call and stir anything up. Anyone have this happen at all?

Have you bought anything with PPDG recently? I've found that there's a limit to how much you can buy. When I get that error, it clears after a couple of days. Even with the error, I can buy from GCM with no problems. It's just with anything with PPDG has a limit (e.g. doesn't matter if it's BB, GS, etc.).

When you buy eBay gc with your ebucks, is this through GCM? I keep ending up at PPDG. I'd prefer not to mess with them with what everyone has said about all the verification issues but can't find eBay on GCM.

....I had no issues with buying a GS GC with PPDG 45 mins ago, but I only had $100 in eBay bucks as I just started my churning journey. It might be based on the $$$ you're buying. I would call PayPal and ask if there's anything on your account restricting you from buying GC.

Hmmm. Well, I tried to first buy the full $500, then $300, of the GS gc's, and tried to buy $200 eBay gc's. Got the same message for all. I think right now I'm gonna hold off on calling PP, hopefully it gets straightened out soon, though! I haven't tried to do the same yet with DD25's account yet.

Nope, I haven't bought any gc's from anywhere else but GCM on my own account. Last month with the last promo, my DD25 got a promo For a second time on her account and I bought $300 in GS gc's three times. I think I made the payments with my paypal though. But not sure why this would matter now?
Also, I thought that if there was the rolling 30 day $1000 limit from PayPal, I thought that had been lifted? And, at PPDG checkout, how would it know I had paid another account payment with my PayPal anyway?

I don't think GCM sells digital or egift cards, just physical gc's but could be wrong. Last time I used them it worked pretty easy though had to verify my paypal.

You mean you aren't...younger?? I was teasing. I was around for all that too though I think 8 tracks were on there way out when I was even very little. I very much remember microfiche. Used it all through college, as well as a card catalog. And i loved a rotary phone. You guys remember the cool sound it made when the rotary dial was turning? I heard today on the radio how kids of this generation are basically deficient in 'phone manners'. They do not know how to answer a phone properly or take a message when someone isn't able to come to the phone. Sad!!

Someone I know has a rotary ringing phone as their ringtone! Almost a little nostalgic, lol. And I really liked that clicky sound when going around the dial! Sometimes, at the community library where I work we have programs for kids and a Few parents have their kids call to be added to the list or request an item or renewal. Can be a bit tedious sometimes, lol, but they are trying to help the kids learn how to use the phone and do so with some manners, so can't complain too much there, lol.

GCM is out of 100 and 150 Target cards. Is this unusual? I believe they have been out of the $150's for awhile

Same message this morning. I tried twice. I'll wait a day or so and try again. I'm slightly worried with GCM now out of stock on Target 100/150 cards. I have $500 in eBay Bucks and don't want to get stuck with not being able to convert them for churning, but I really hate to jump the panic gun and order 50s. Ugh!!

I placed an order 2 days ago with gift cards and some other items I needed and set it to pick up in store, it got cancelled, and the same thing happened yesterday. I tried again this morning, and the target gift cards I tried to use on yesterday's order are showing $0 value! Has anyone else had this issue?

Why oh why does Target have to make their card # and access codes sooooooo small? Seriously, there's a large space there and the writing is tiny..........I swear, they're screwing with us. I just got one of those cards that was a mess when I tried to remove the silver stuff to access the card #. I used a little Dawn dish detergent and it was miraculous! Still small, but clear as day at least. That's my newbie contribution

I just brought that subject up last week! You may be onto something. Target gets our money & then we can't actually use it because we either can't read it (since it's tiny) and/or we can't get the nasty smudge off and/or the plastic tears off. It's soooooooooo frustrating!!

GCM is out of 100 and 150 Target cards. Is this unusual? I believe they have been out of the $150's for awhile

It is not unusual for them to run out. Someone suggested on another page that people are probably trying to cash in their Ebay bucks in case there is no offer by the end of the month. Usually they restock in a few days, sometimes even sooner.

Had been doing Raise/Target/Disney "slowly" for about a year with no problems (Purchased Dec/Jan/Mar vacation and AP). In March i got aggressive with the EBay cards to get the max return from Ebucks - Targets final straw was $2,000 ebay cards in ONE day. BANNED. Called Target to inform them we are not "reseller". Empathetic supervisor said there is no exceptions to reactivate account. Left it alone at that - dont want to rock the boat and ruin the 5% discount. Luckily we have two red card accounts so will walk lightly on the other account. Have trips in Sept/Oct/Dec and Cruise in Jan. Big blow out year for the little ones ultimate lifetime memories.

Have you tried using the other account? It was my understanding that they also ban every other account with the same shipping address?

I remember last year ordering $800 worth of Target cards from GCM in $25 denominations because that's all that was left in stock for a good ebay bucks promotion. Man, did that take a long time to scratch, key in, and combine. (Back when you could combine GCs on the Target mobile website). I would've been thrilled for $50 cards back then!

Back to : My kids cannot grasp the concept of having to watch shows in 'real time' as they aired and not being able to pause or rewatch whenever you felt like it. I admit the pre-DVR days were a whole different TV experience.

Get new shipping address
Make 2 new Target accounts with said shipping address.
All went well. Got to finally convert Target giftcard to Disney GC (no redcard discount)

Target sends me a new redcard with the chip. So this is from the previous account that got banned, except I now have a new redcard number.

Stupid me, i change the address on the redcard account to the new shipping address.

And guess what, every order on both new Target accounts gets cancelled again. And I haven't even set the redcard as default payment.

When my orders are canceled, the balance of that order is always returned to the gift card(s) immediately (or maybe the funds never left).

I've had this happen. You might wait a day or two then try again. It has sometimes taken a while but I've never had the cards depleted when they cancelled an order. Another thing that happens for me is that one of the gift cards # will remain stored on their site but I have to re-key any others in that I want to use to pay for the order.
One way I help myself keep track of this is to write with a Sharpie on the front of the card that last four digits of the card number.

I don't think that I could pick just one. I use ebates for cash back on my churning and it's an integral part of the process for me. The Ebay bucks program is also essential. I earn a lot of rewards through Perk, but I have a very large farm in comparison to a lot of people on the disboards. And running Swagbucks every days is part of my routine. There are other, smaller programs (Qmee, Checkpoints, MyPoints, Shopkick, iBotta, Checkout51 and SavingStar) which are slow earners but they contribute to my earnings. IMO, if you limit yourself to only one program, you're leaving money on the table.

Hmm, interesting. Have either of you placed orders with PPDG before? Wondering what we've all fine that's similar. Gonna try again today.
