@Lain- thanks. That's what happened with the first order, it was like they never touched the gift cards. I am hoping it'll be straightened out in a day or two when I am ready to try again.

@Narnia_girl - thanks, good to know it worked out for you even with a delay. I used 4 cards on the first order that got canceled, and it was like they never touched them. Same 4 cards on the next canceled order, and two were depleted and one has a balance of $9.05 (should be $25) and is saved in my account. I will wait a few days and try again, I am hoping they just restore the balances and I don't have to call

I don't think that I could pick just one. I use ebates for cash back on my churning and it's an integral part of the process for me. The Ebay bucks program is also essential. I earn a lot of rewards through Perk, but I have a very large farm in comparison to a lot of people on the disboards. And running Swagbucks every days is part of my routine. There are other, smaller programs (Qmee, Checkpoints, MyPoints, Shopkick, iBotta, Checkout51 and SavingStar) which are slow earners but they contribute to my earnings. IMO, if you limit yourself to only one program, you're leaving money on the table.

For me... I did not want to forget about my Ebay bucks and then have GCM be sold out when it was time to redeem. I was not letting my $300+ Ebay bucks go to waste! Yes, buying Ebay GC doesn't get you any cash back or Ebay bucks, but all it is, is turning your Ebay bucks that expire at the end of the month into gift cards that you can use at any time. So now next time there's a promo I have Ebay bucks all ready.

I could have purchased 3 $100 Target gift cards (that's all that was in stock at the time) with my $300 Ebay bucks, but I would've paid $4.98 to ship, and I would've made $6.00 in Ebay bucks & $3.00 Ebates. So I would've made $4 and I would have had to wait for the cards to come in the mail. In this case, I got my Ebay gift cards right away to use whenever. So yeah I missed out on $4 but I didn't lose anything and now I don't have to worry about my bucks expiring.

The ebay bucks expire a month after they are awarded. In that month, there are fewer bonus ebay bucks offers (if any). Since you're limited to a maximum of $500 in earning ebay bucks per account in a single quarter, it makes sense to cycle through ebay as few times as is necessary to earn those $500 ebay bucks. So, you wait for the bonus bucks offers. Converting your ebay bucks from this quarter to ebay GCs (which won't expire) gives you the luxury of waiting for those bonus offers. Every time that you place an order with GCM, you're cutting into your potential earnings by paying for shipping. The fewer times that you pay for shipping, the better your savings.

I've been having the same problem trying to place orders from PPDG for a couple of weeks now. I was on the phone with Paypal last night and the person that was helping me told me that I keep getting flagged because they couldn't confirm my location. Weird that I only have this issue when I try to buy from PPDG , after all that I was still not able to make the purchase. Tried again this morning and got the same error. I think I'm going to have to stay away from PPDG which sucks because I was hoping to take full advantage of whatever offer Ebay brings up (hopefully) this month.

As far as what Target looks for, I think it is all red cards linked. For my other Card, my DW account, I was an approved user and both "cards" were blocked from transactions. I had gotten a second account for myself and am treading lightly until the end of the year.

Has anyone had trouble with PPDG when buying eBay gc with your ebucks? I'm seeing all the problems but would really like to turn my ebucks into eBay gc. Is there a different way to get them?

Giant foods is having a promo for $5 off of 50. I haven't found out if this applies to GC, but they do sell GC in store. Just an FYI.

As I was trying to quickly read thru the thread before work this afternoon, and saw the converting ebucks to Ebay cards, I was wondering this, as well! And I think some did do this.

And, not to get caught with a card I couldn't use, I called my local Gamestop tonight. I called and said I had a large GS gc I wanted to use, but wasn't sure what I could use it on. He said, Oh, you can use it on anything in the store that we sell. So, I asked what they sell there besides games. He said games, game equipment, movies, all sorts of gift cards, (and some other stuff I don't remember). So, I said that's great, thank you, and he said yep, you're welcome, anything we sell can be paid for with the GS gc, so come on in. He was very friendly!
So for now, my GS is good to go, which I'm happy about! But, then I tried to go buy that PPDG gc I had said I had, to spend my Ebucks and it won't let me buy any at all! I click proceed to checkout and it says up at the top 'Something went wrong. Please try to checkout again". And the top right side, it says Error Codes: 70245 70358 TRANSACTION_REFUSED. Ugh! No idea why it's doing that, anyone else have this problem? I even tried to go to a new browser and that didn't help. I haven't bought the GS cards on my account before. I've never had any problem buying any gc's for these promos we've been doing. For that last promo, I did a few GS churns but I was using my DD25's account. I am going to try to go in and use her ebucks there and see how that goes later.

I also just tried on my account to buy the EBay digital gc from PPDG and it does the same thing! I can't imagine what's up! I really don't wanna have to call and stir anything up. Anyone have this happen at all?

Ugh. So I can now join the "Target cancelled my order" club. I placed an order 2 days ago with gift cards and some other items I needed and set it to pick up in store, it got cancelled, and the same thing happened yesterday. I tried again this morning, and the target gift cards I tried to use on yesterday's order are showing $0 value! Has anyone else had this issue?

I am having the same issue right now.
If you're going to cancel my order, then please promptly refund my gift card!

No, it is in store. I haven't tried yet, but I imagine you scan your bonus card at the in store kiosk and the coupon will print.

My story so far:
Got banned at Target (in Jan)
Get 2 new email adresses, one for me, one for DH
Get new shipping address
Make 2 new Target accounts with said shipping address.
All went well. Got to finally convert Target giftcard to Disney GC (no redcard discount)

Target sends me a new redcard with the chip. So this is from the previous account that got banned, except I now have a new redcard number.

Stupid me, i change the address on the redcard account to the new shipping address.

And guess what, every order on both new Target accounts gets cancelled again. And I haven't even set the redcard as default payment.

Ok, so the bad news is that you're probably re-banned. Sorry about that for sure.

But the good news is that, as long as you can reasonably dissociate yourself from the previous account you had, you can in fact open a new target .com account and continue buying online (albeit minus the 5% discount).

All of which makes the final hurdle obtaining a new Red card in a way that would not be linked to your old Red card/target .com account. If you try this, let us know if you succeed or fail. I'm sure there will be others who get banned at some point and would greatly appreciate what you (or anyone else who tries) learn.

So it's possible to circumvent the ban if you jump through enough hoops. However, I still wonder if the person with a banned Target card tried to open a new credit/debit card (with a new address), would they be able to avoid being linked?

So I just tried to buy GS cards thru PPDG on my account and same thing happened again. Then I tried to go thru DD25's account and thought all was good, it was going thru and even got to choose to use my ebucks, though I had to use the code from the email to do it, and then signed into DD25's paypal account and that's when it stopped me with that error refusal code again! I used her account before to purchase the GS gc's thru, but had paid with my paypal, so thought that was the problem but I guess not. Ugh! I suppose I may end up having to buy the physical gc's and pay the shipping, but was hoping to do the digital gc's to not having to do shipping. I probably wasn't even going to do this ebay or GS card route first but with Target possibly running out on GCM, I decided it would be a good idea so as not to lose my ebucks, as others pointed out. Now I may be stopped, at least in doing GS or digital type Ebay gc's. It did say they were having technical difficulties when trying to use the ebucks at first, but it went thru after a couple times, but after that then opening her Paypal is when it got the error refusal code. Ugh, this is stupid, lol.

I doubt that that is possible. You need a SS to apply for a red card. My DH does not have one so we can't get another red card
