hola everyone..

busy morning for me.. kinda.. been calling around to get an appointment to get Gwenie fixed and i think she knows what im talking about because she looks all worried.. :lmao:

so I make the appointment with the vet and now I have to find a recent edition of the yellow pages because there is a coupon for 20% off getting your pet fixed at this clinic :woohoo: so when Josh gets off we are on the hunt for 2 phone books (im sure i can just pick them up at raleys) we need 2 so Joshs mom has the coupon for Crash.. hes getting fixed soon too..

soo.. with the coupon its only going to be $112 to get her fixed.. kinda expenciver but it needs to get done before the baby gets here.. but then the vet tells me i need proof of vaccination (duh) buuuuut... I cant find it...

where did i have it last?!? oh yeah I gave it to petco when we got her groomed.. called petco "yeah we had it but we destroy things like that because they have personal information on it" what the heck am i going to do?!?!?! if i dont have it at the time of surgery they do it there for another $45.... so i called the clinic that did the shots for us (after about a half hour trying to find their number) and i get some ditz on the phone "im new i dont know if i can send you that information" what that my dog wont give you a dieses if she bites you... your competent......... so someone else gets on the phone and they can only find Crashs information.. so ANOTHER person gets on the phone "well let me search by YOUR name not the dogs.. ah ha i found it it will be in the mail today" ......................... thank god one out of three people has a flipping brain!!! :rotfl:

:dance3:

I find customer service severely lacking nowadays (except of course at Disney!)

Glad you are able to get the papers!

OH! and Josh and i get to go to his moms co workers house today and get all the stuff for the baby! :dancer: stuff like the crib and all that! :woohoo: finally!

Oh that will be lots of fun!!

We haven't even started the room for baby #2...fortunately, we can reuse the same crib, blankets, sheets, etc but there's still more we need to get and of course decorating the room. We haven't chosen a theme yet. I'm waiting for our 20 wk u/s next Thursday -- want to make sure our girl is really a girl!:rotfl:

awww!!! well we already picked a theme.. its "mommy and daddys room" :rotfl: but I want to get the crib in here and up so the dog gets used to it and stuff.. i guess Josh has kind of picked the blanket theme and stuff tho.. he really likes sail boats for the baby.. im not so much a fan.. id prefer Mickey Mouse or dinosaurs or jungle but his mom already bought us stuff with sail boats because she knows Josh liked them.. im ok with it tho.. its cute and boyish.. so oh well...

Sailboats will be great! We're thinking of using a beach scene -- sandcastles, waves, fish, beach ball and umbrella...could be really cute.

that sounds cute.. i dont know why im not a fan of that sail boats.. i just dont like them.. but as long as he has blankets and stuff i guess i can deal with whatever is on them..

Trains? Who would have guessed? :rotfl:

I am not going to take off my bandaid until tonight after I shower. I am hoping that the bleeding is over. THank you for the concern.

How you feeling today? any more bleeding?

That made my brain spin:rotfl2:

Glad it all worked out

DH Job Update: He finally got a verbal offer from the company that he really wants...of course, it doesn't mean anything until we get it in writing. Downside is the benefits and salary are actually the worst of all 3 offers so far...Isn't it always something?

Oh, and DH has one more interview 9am on Monday.

So hopefully he can decide by next week and we can start earning some money again!:thumbsup2

I am glad he got offer and company is where he wants to work. If he does take that job, sure salary will improve over time

Maybe Monday is the "one"

Will be sending good vibes his way and hope it all works for you all:goodvibes

Yeah, DH was asked on one of the interviews about working from home full-time...my first thought was :scared1: .

Now you must understand I  my DH but I really value working in "my office" with DD under my conditions -- play loud music and dance if we want to, be silly, etc ... and of course, DD would have trouble distinguishing why Daddy was home but not talking to her, etc.

So he asked me about it and he said he didn't think it would go over too well...I told him I agreed.
My DH has been working from home FULL TIME since last year. It is not a pretty picture :rotfl: It has a few advantages like if the baby is sleeping I can leave her in bed to run the kids to school. And the older kids love to have Dad home when they get there because he used to not get home until 7 or 8pm. It took awhile for them to understand when he could talk and when he was working. At the end of the summer I had to tell him to pick a spot and stay there. He was always wandering around the house on the phone. I couldn't vacuum, watch tv, turn on the radio! So we moved the playroom to the basement and his office is the old playroom. I lock him in in the morning and don't let him out!!!! :rotfl2: Life and marriage is better! :thumbsup2

Ok, on Sunday after church we went to a local Apple Orchard to pick some apples and pumpkins. I never picked apples right from a tree before.

Here is DD being silly

OK, I need food. G'nite!
Great picture!

Oh sweety, that would be awful if that happened. I'm sure you will be okay but I will pray for your safety and sanity tomorrow :goodvibes I'm glad to hear you're looking forward to that. I hope you have fun. No I am not familiar with those lecturers. That's cool that they have so much to offer at the seminar. Oh I'm a video game freak too (getting Rock Band World Tour this Sunday)!! I've been dying to try out that Wii Fit. You'll have to give me a review of it after you try it out!
We have the Wii Fit and I love it. I went to TRU a few weeks ago and they had b2g1 free on video games. We were getting Guitar Hero for DS and Dance Dance Revolution and the guy said I have 1 Wii Fit left if you want. I said sure. Brought it home and we love it! It's a great work out.

Stacy London has a show on TLC that she hosts with Clinton Kelly called what not to wear. It is on Friday nights at like 9 o'clock and they take people and teach them how to dress. I get a big kick out of it. Nate Berkus is an interior decorater that Oprah has on her show a lot. Suze Orman is supposed to be there too but we opted to not see her. I am not a Suze Orman fan at all.

Nate is sooo cute!

Good morning! I feel out of the loop! We had the Monster Mash Bash at school last night and the PTO spent the day getting ready for it so I was out of the house all day. But it was a success and the kids all looked so cute in their costumes. Abby was a hit in her little Tinkerbell costume! Ainslee won 2 Wenkinz by sticking her hand in a cauldron full of cold noodles to pull out an eyeball with an x on it! Good times!

We had Trent pumpkin carving family nite at school last nite.

It was pretty fun, but so loud

I will upload my pics later:goodvibes

My first thought as I read this was just call the Dr. who gave him the shot and get another copy but then I see you figured that out all by yourself, lol. Glad you got it worked out and it won't delay the fixin! LOL

HI Marshay! I'm so glad to hear that DH got the offer from the company he really wants. Sometimes there are other perks that are better than the benefit plan, as long as you have benefits that is. If the benefits and salary are the worst of the thee offers, why is this the one that DH wanted? Just curious? Must have something really good about it, maybe the job itself? I wish him all the good luck in the world and hope he get the written offer soon. :goodvibes :goodvibes

You are so funny Laura. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to have your DH working at home full time with kids and all. I can see the pros and conveniences of being able to run out as he's there but to have him there all the time, no alone time, that could get old unless you are very disciplined and he stays in his "office" and not out where the family is during working hours, lol.

I do really want a WII and want the Wii fit. I doubt I"ll get one for Christmas but that is what I really want. I think it would be fun. Not to mention healthy!

That sounds great Laura. I bet the kids all looked adorable and you all had a good time. Kudos to Ainslee for wining 2 webkinz, that's funny what she had to do to win it though, lol, sounds like children's Fear Factor! :lmao:

I guess under those circumstances I can let you go for not doing the pics or your update yet.

The job he wants will put him on a management track in 6 months and supposedly will provide training too (although I'm not sure what that means since it isn't a program or anything). He still thinks he wants to do management. I still think he is delusional. At home he never wants to deal with budget or planning or time management/routines ... he says he doesn't like that...so why does he want to do it at work?? :confused3 It actually makes me a bit mad and scared b/c I don't want to be in this same position (unemployed) a year from now.

But I have to be careful what I say...I don't want to nag him or be the Debbie Downer in his work life...and if he can really get some management training, that is what he needs...he was just thrown into it before and it was "sink or swim"...you know which he did...
