Hey Sharky -- sorry you aren't feeling good...I hate this change in weather...everyone always gets sick.

Can't wait to see everyone's fall pictures.

We took DD to a Halloween Party (that Other playgroup I joined) and we had sooooo much fun! We rented out a gym at the community center and everyone brought coupe cars and trikes and the kids had a blast. Then we did a parade around the gym in costumes and then trick or treating. DD was so excited.

I'll post pics later -- and finally got a pregnant pic of me that isn't completely OMG she's that big already photo! :rotfl2:

Either late tnite I will do it, or tomorrow morning before he gets up.

We just vegging now...

Sorry you feel  It's that time of year isn't it?? Hope you both feel better soon!

We just got back from Aidans football game. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Adorable!!! Yeah, I can see why Little Tink was the hit of the party!

I'm sorry you dont' feel well honey and sorry Trent doesn't. I didn't know you had a bad cold, poor things. Stay home today and get some rest and hopefully you'll both feel better by Monday!

I guess under those circumstances I can let you go for not doing the pics or your update yet.

Thanks mom. Trent coughing with running nose. But he still runing around like a nut of course:rotfl:

Wow -- I just can't imagine having DH home working all the time!

The job he wants will put him on a management track in 6 months and supposedly will provide training too (although I'm not sure what that means since it isn't a program or anything). He still thinks he wants to do management. I still think he is delusional. At home he never wants to deal with budget or planning or time management/routines ... he says he doesn't like that...so why does he want to do it at work?? :confused3 It actually makes me a bit mad and scared b/c I don't want to be in this same position (unemployed) a year from now.

But I have to be careful what I say...I don't want to nag him or be the Debbie Downer in his work life...and if he can really get some management training, that is what he needs...he was just thrown into it before and it was "sink or swim"...you know which he did...
Hey Marshay

Maybe because of what happened with the last job, even though MGMT is not his thing, he feels the need to prove himself, to make himself feel better. That is why he wants to take it:goodvibes

Thanks Marshay. I really thyink it is the change of weather for sure. A lot of kids in Trent's class all have the same cough. Now with cold weather, making everyone noses run...

Sounds like a lot of fun last night.

Can't wait to see your pics, too:goodvibes

DH Job Update: He finally got a verbal offer from the company that he really wants...of course, it doesn't mean anything until we get it in writing. Downside is the benefits and salary are actually the worst of all 3 offers so far...Isn't it always something?

Oh, and DH has one more interview 9am on Monday.

So hopefully he can decide by next week and we can start earning some money again!:thumbsup2

oh sweet! Congrats to your DH. Bummer on the benefits not being that great but I guess you can't have it all. Then life would be too great. ....just can't have that in this world *sigh*

We have the Wii Fit and I love it. I went to TRU a few weeks ago and they had b2g1 free on video games. We were getting Guitar Hero for DS and Dance Dance Revolution and the guy said I have 1 Wii Fit left if you want. I said sure. Brought it home and we love it! It's a great work out.

Nate is sooo cute!

oh cool! Thanks for the review on the Wii Fit. I think I'll be snagging one in the future :thumbsup2

Hi everybody!

I got home a little while ago from my Oprah seminar and it was a blast. We got a nice surprise Oprah herself was there at the end of the day. So we got to see Oprah speak. I took pictures so I will try and post them. Nate looked so adorable, Stacy London was a kick like normal. All in all it was great.:goodvibes

Yes I know what he did.........glub, glub, glub, gurgle.

Well maybe he wants to do those things just not at home, maybe if he gets trained in management he'll be better equipped to do it a little more at home as well. I will be keeping my fingers crossed. YOu know I just want the best for all of you!

Laura those are great pictures. They all looked great, even DH, lol. I love the storm tropper costume, looks just slightly different than the storm trooper outfit that Huey puts on his tater!!!!

That's great Michele, glad you had a good time. I can't wait to see the pics. How was the ride under the bay? Did you make it thru without any panic? I hope so!!!:thumbsup2

It was so funny on the way into San Francisco I didn't even notice that we had gone under the bay, on the way back I noticed it a little more. The biggest thing was it made my ears pop.

Ok, guys -- wish us luck tonight...

For the past week or so, DD has been calling us in the middle of the night to "change my diaper". She only wears diapers at night...she is potty-trained during the day. I figured if we are getting up just to change the diaper, we might as well get up to help her with the potty -- with the goal being she can do this all herself.

But just like during PT in the daytime, if she is wearing a diaper, she thinks it's ok to pee/poo in it and she had/has no incentive to use the potty.

So ... tonight is the first night with just underwear...we are expecting many accidents over the next nights/weeks and lack of sleep. The good thing is that DH is not working so we can both share the night-time shift.

We cut back her food/liquid intake at night (nothing after 6:30pm) so hope that will help...and we're trying to make a big deal about being a "Super Big Girl" like her friends. We laid out extra PJs, sheets, mattress cover and blanket.

Any other suggestions?
