Oh my! As much a I love my DH I would pretty much feel the same way. When we were first married he worked a carwash and I was very pregnant and not working. In the month of January he worked like three days. I learned to love our alone time as much as our together time.:rotfl:

I hear you!!

It still hurts and it was bleeding earlier but the numbness and the nerve pain I had before the surgery is improving. Thank you for asking.

OK, one more silly question...why is it bleeding? Is that normal?

DD fell asleep in the car coming home from the pool today too. DH picked her up and let her sleep in the living room for 1.5 hrs...I was afraid to let her sleep too long or too short but it seemed to work.

I'll step away for a bit...need to eat a snack and then go to bed -- that swimming pool wore me out too!

Miss the day of naps

Swimming sounds fun, but I am sure it is tiring

Enjoy your snack:goodvibes

Lasagna was wonderful!! I made a spinach and beef lasagna this time, b/c I'm trying to get more vegetables into our meals. DH didn't say anything (either good or bad) but all 3 of us had seconds so I'll let his actions speak for itself.

On a "bummer" note, my DH said yes to one of the offers...however, it was contingent on the end-client also choosing him...so he interviewed with them yesterday. We basically decided that this was going to be the job. Salary was ok but the benefits were wonderful (like $0 for health care and 5 weeks vacation!!). But we found out today, that the end-client was looking for someone with more datebase programming experience.

So we're kind of bummed right now. The only other offer is the one that would require DH driving 1 hour each way ... and although lots of people do that in our area, we really don't want to do that...esp with a newborn.

We're going to wait a few more days and pray that God will open up another opportunity ... and if not, then that means DH is supposed to take the job that is 1 hr away.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers...I'll be glad when a decision is reached...(and I get the house back to myself during the day!) :lmao:

Glad dinner turned out well

Sorry about DH job offer.

Like you said maybe he is meant to take that job. Hopefully something closer to home will come along:goodvibes

Yeah, DH was asked on one of the interviews about working from home full-time...my first thought was :scared1: .

Now you must understand I  my DH but I really value working in "my office" with DD under my conditions -- play loud music and dance if we want to, be silly, etc ... and of course, DD would have trouble distinguishing why Daddy was home but not talking to her, etc.

So he asked me about it and he said he didn't think it would go over too well...I told him I agreed.

Yeah, good idea:goodvibes

Ah poor guy all tuckered out. How sweet.

:goodvibes That's one of the things I like ab out exercising. I always sleep so good when I do. But I can't right now. My orthopedic DR doesn't want me to take a chance on messing up my surgery and I am inclined to agree.

I found out earlier when I was looking at the O! You website that Loreal Paris is doing makeovers. So I am so going to do it if I can.

Well, he ended up waking up and boy was and is he miserable

I finally got his face washed and his hands cleaned. they were so gross:scared:

I got him out of dirty clothes and into nice clean PJs.,,. Now he watching a movie:happytv:

A makeover sounds liek fun:woohoo:

Why is it bleeding?

Ok, on Sunday after church we went to a local Apple Orchard to pick some apples and pumpkins. I never picked apples right from a tree before.

Here is DD being silly

I wish I knew why it is bleeding.

Yeah I thought a makeover sounded real fun. I hope I am able to do it.

Ok the verdict is .....

-

NOT!!

Seriously, I started chewing the gum and then cutting the onion. All seemed pretty well in the beginning. It was a Vidalia Onion. Then I start to smell it so I start chewing the gum harder...then my eyes are getting a bit red so I start chewing the gum like a cow!! Yes, I was laughing at myself while I was doing this...thinking, maybe I'm supposed to chew faster!

In the end, my eyes were all red, burning and I'm crying up a storm.

Next time I'll do the cold water (I store my onions in the fridge anyway)...this works pretty good if you keep doing more water for each section.

But the good news is we are having Home made (ok, the pasta is the oven baked kind and the sauce is Ragu) Lasagna for dinner tonight and I was able to make another one for a mom that just had a baby, too.

So, what you up to Chele and Marshay?

I just got hom from McDonalds. We had a playdate with Penny and her youngest daughter. Her older one had homework

Trent was so filthy and don;t ya know what happened

He fell asleep in the car

Normally I would be in heaven, but he is so dirty

Now that is has been about a half hr

Going to try and wipe down his hands atleast while he sleeps

Be back in a bit

oh man that sucks that it didn't work. But I really :rotfl: at the mental image you described. Priceless!

Bummer that it is bleeding. Hope that doesn't continue to happen for ya. But glad you're still seeing improvement.

Good Morning.:flower3:

We watched a short video that came with one of Trent toys, called Geo Town. It is about trains, go figure:goodvibes

Well if you are still bleeding today, ya might want to call the doctor and make sure that is normal?

Bummer that it is bleeding. Hope that doesn't continue to happen for ya. But glad you're still seeing improvement.

Morning Chele. How are you today?

Oh I am pretty good. Thank you for asking. How are you? I am getting pretty excited about my trip to San Francisco tomorrow. It has been almost ten years since I have been. It's funny, we live only 45 miles from one of the most beautful cities in the world and I never go.:confused3

I am not going to take off my bandaid until tonight after I shower. I am hoping that the bleeding is over. THank you for the concern.

I'm okay. Not a great day. Gloomy, rainy, cold....
Glad you are getting excited for your trip to San Fran tomorrow. Sounds like me and going to atlanta. I live 30 min away and I hardly ever go down there. Such a hassle.

Now me I would love some gloomy, rainy, cold weather. It's gonna be hot here again today. That's me and San Francisco it is a terrible hassle dealing with all the traffic and the bridges and all that. We are riding the BART train tomorrow, it goes under the bay. I have never ridden on BART before it should be interesting.

you can have it. It hasn't even stopped raining long enough for me to go out to the mail box. Never heard of the BART but if it's anything like the MARTA here in GA then you're in for a treat :rotfl:

BART is the Bay Area Rapid Transit. And I figure I am in for a real treat but the way I figure it with the cost being $9.90 for a round trip is cheaper than gas, bridge toll of $5.00 per bridge for two bridges and at least $12.00 a day for parking. I must admit the thought of riding the train under the bay kind of frightens me a bit.:scared1:

Yeah, sounds like it will save you money. $5 per bridge and $12 for parking?? Saving at least $10 by taking BART. Awww, I'm sure you will be okay. It will be an experience of a life time.

I have visions if there being an earthquake and the tunnel filling with the bay water and all that. Not a prettu picture. But on a high note I am very excited about going to this seminar. I envisioned a bunch of lectures when I bought my ticket. I don't know if you are familar with Stacy London or Nate Burkus are but they are two of the lectures we are going to tomorrow. Now after looking at the O You! website I ralize there is so much more including WII fit. I am a video game freak so that excites me.

Oh sweety, that would be awful if that happened. I'm sure you will be okay but I will pray for your safety and sanity tomorrow :goodvibes I'm glad to hear you're looking forward to that. I hope you have fun. No I am not familiar with those lecturers. That's cool that they have so much to offer at the seminar. Oh I'm a video game freak too (getting Rock Band World Tour this Sunday)!! I've been dying to try out that Wii Fit. You'll have to give me a review of it after you try it out!
