Alec did great in his white/yellow belt test. Here is a very quick video of him receiving the belt...(he's in the back row with his hands over his eyes)

Those toilet dolls are so funny. We had one as a kid. It always creeped me out. I think I eventually took the barbie's head one day and put a little firecracker in it and lit it. I was an evil child. I hate barbies.

My prom was in 1980! Someone asked if they went to dinner? (I think DM)
Don't you have dinners with the prom? Our's was a sit down formal, just like a wedding. That's how they do it in Northern NJ....

This is what I think of the Dining Reservations people.


I'm in the process of switching some reservations around. Right now Crystal Palace is now on the 17th at 8:15 and we have Prime Time for lunch on the 20th at 11:30, trying to do maybe a dinner. We're going to end up trying to switch Liberty Tree and Chef Mickey's. The lady was veru umm rude.

Our proms are dances.... We go to dinner before and then go to the dance.

Actually- you go take pictures, then leave, go to dinner, then come back to dance... No sit downs at all. Actually, depending upon the denomination of the school (many of our schools are religion based), they may have a dinner. Some denomiations don't believe in dancing so the prom is the sit down meal- more like a banquet where they give awards, etc.

Mandy - Sorry about the Dining CM. I haven't had a rude one yet. One a little ditzy maybe... Let me know what you change so I can make the necessary corrections on our first post. You looked very lovely in your prom picture.

My prom was a disaster! My loser of a date (from a different school) stiffed me the day before. So I quick called a "sorta" friend who had a crush on me to take me. I had to pay for his tux though. Who's the loser now? It was horrible because all he wanted to do was drink. I ended up leaving him and coming home early. So, I have gotten rid of all my pictures of that horrible day.

Our proms didn't have sit down meals. Some had sort of a buffet type thing but the dancing was the big thing. I went to many a prom, just not my own. You don't want to see what I wore at those things. You moms would just have a heart attack. The early 90's weren't good to me.

We took pictures at home, then left for the prom, and had photographer's pictures taken there. The prom was a very formal affair - sit down dinner and 5 piece band. The place was gorgeous - couldn't afford to have my wedding there six years later!

Congraulations r friends son is being tested on Friday for his yellow belt as he is white right now!
