Sugarbees - You made me laugh with your ace of cakes comment!
I love your clothes for the boutique and those hangers add the PERFECT touch! Where did you get them?
And I have to second the vote that you include a picture of your little one in every post! She is so steenking cute! She makes me laugh just looking at her!

Did someone say flamingo? I had to post b/c I made this last week. Sorry for the princess not wanting to pose...
th_101_1378.jpg
Oh my goodness, that is SOO cute! My mom and I have a running pink flamingo joke going. I wish I could find some of that fabric to make something fo her! Your DD looks adorable, even when not wanting to model (I have a reluctant little model myself)

Here is a Prince Eric shirt I made for our Disney on Ice - Princess Wishes this week!

WOW!!! You are truly talented!! It's so hard to do faces, much less make him look handsome!!!

And here is the corset top I made using Lisa's instructions (also for the Disney on Ice). The skirt I had already made (Ottobre pattern)

Wow again!!! This is beautiful!! I just love how you used the decorative stitch down the sides!

These are all absolutely adorable!!! My favorite is the lollipop outfit. Then again, my favorite is the one Saylor is wearing! I 2nd Steph's opinion that you should include a photo of her adorable smiling face in each post!!

I just finished a rosy shabby chic purse. Nothing fancy, just something I wanted for me to hold my library books.

You all do such lovely work!
We need a picture!!!!

That's just about what it looked like out my front door this morning- UGH!!!! I need a vacation!!!!

I would love for y'all to move down here in Alabama where today's temps will be in the 50s. The great debate this morning was "jacket or coat?"

Y'all come! It's only 11 hours to Disney from here!

Apparently I have insomnia...yeesh...oh well, just wanted to share...sorry, no freakishly phenomenal Splash Mountain "I make Ace of Cakes look like an amateur" cake decorating style going on...but still... :rotfl:

I think jham mentioned earlier we're putting some things together for a boutique next month...this is one of mine...

Whatever! :rotfl:

Those are so adorable. Your daughter is gorgeous! My inlaws are gone so I might get some time to work on an outfit today. obviously I screwed up the valentine outfit because it had no twirl factor at all, even though it turned out cute anyway, I still need to get a twirl skirt right before I move on!

Lookie what we got last night. There was no snow on the ground at 10 pm when I went to bed.

Go ahead and rub it in. All I got last night was a sudden storm that turned the power off twice and some really loud thunder.

yikes everyone stay safe in all that snow. I wouldnt know what to do in it! Its going to be in the low 80's in Phoenix this week.

:cheer2: Yippee!!! Congrats to both!! :cheer2:

Oh he is adorable I love it. Boy he is going to have all the girls drooling when he gets older.

If you are making it out of chiffon, it is supposedly very hard to do! Lisa made one for Zoe. She gave the website where she bought the chiffon, I think I might have bookmarked it.
I don't know what to make it out of. I found Pettitwirl directions it that the same kind of pattern? I am lost.:confused3 I did find some chiffon I liked on clearance at joanns but if it is hard to sew it's not for me I am just getting started on my new machine and hoave no clue what I am doing.

Here is what I whipped up today...She doesn't want pants, so I decided to just save the extra fabric incase she changes her mind.

Does anyone have any tips for appliquéing?(ok, I think that is spelled wrong lol_ I am tring it for the first time and I am practicing before I put what I want on a t-shirt. I just did my first practice one and I have pucking around it?

:rotfl: Thanks! The hangers are from Target (can I say that?) and they're 2 for $1...is that insane? They really are adorable...they're made out of wood and everything!

There is something wrong with me because I am jealous of that weather! Usually I'm itching for spring, but, for some reason I can't get enough snow this year! JEALOUS! Looks beautiful!!!! :upsidedow

That is sooo exciting! Congrats!!! :cheer2: I love the whole cheer scene...it's been really good for Seli, helped overcome her shyness---you should see her now, you'd NEVER know she'd had a shy bone in her body! And it's a TOUGH sport! Those girls work hard! Especially when they're winning championships every five minutes! GREAT JOB!!!!

OH...MY...GOSH! Look at HIM! That little handsome devil... I just love seeing stuff made for boys and that has got to take the Ace of Cakes cake! GREAT job, Heather! I am, truly, in awe! I think my little Brody would be a handsome little Prince...and Sawyer definitely needs to marry Lily so we can keep this all in the family!!!!! :rotfl:

It sounds like you need to put some Sulky tear-away stabilizer behind the shirt. It's paper-like stuff that you iron onto the back of the shirt you're going to applique. Then, you tear it off of the edges when you're done. LisaZoe wrote a applique tutorial on the other disboutiquer board. There is also an "applique how-to" section in the bookmarks. Good luck!

Jham-:rotfl2: for posting Lily in the Cinderella dress. I love it!!! They will make such a good looking couple! :rotfl:

Thanks everyone for the compliments on the Prince Charming outfit!!!!
