Disboutiquers part 3 (Kids Disney Boutique / Customs Clothes)

We sadly, don't have a place for miss ireland to go to cheer competitively..
she does gymnastics at the moment, but I'd love to get her into dance and cheer. She's very athletic, VERY unlike her Mom... so I'd like to take advantage of it while she's young.

That's too bad! I bet that Ireland would be great at it!! We got lucky, because we were actually looking at a Cheer gym in Largo, but it ended up being too far away. So, we signed her up for rec flag cheerleading, and thought that we'd see how she does. Well, she ended up having such a good time, that we decided to join the competition squad this winter that they created. We went to 3 competitions last fall with her flag football squad and got 1st place all 3 times. Then, we have 3 competitions for this spring and they placed 2nd in the first one, and we'll see how they do on Saturday!!!

Good to see everyone's team is doing well. My poor DD's cheer gym is new this year and they can not keep girls. We started out with 15 girls and have competed this season with six. We have placed last at every comp. She is also in competitive gymnastics and has done well this year so I do not think she cares how well cheer goes, She gets to curl her hair and wear make-up, so she is happy. Wish us luck this weekend.

These are the YCMT rosie goucho's...they are the BEST! They are super easy and fast and turn out so dang cute!!! LOVE them!

I'm totally boring, but I LOVE peasant tops and those gouchos!

Okay, I'll stop...I'm having WAY too much fun..YIKES!!!

Why is it that after it all melts it makes everything look yucky i took one look at my yard and wanted to die ... there is so much carp everywhere argh ... I am just excited that Jayedyn could wear her tennis shoes to school today instead of boots ....

I finally finished Sawyer's Prince Charming outfit!! I have no partially finished projects now!

I was thinking that Aimee had done a post where she took pictures of both girls outfits together and said where they would be wearing them to. I know there are individual pics all over the threads but I was just thinking that there was one post where I could see them all.

Anybody else remember seeing this too?

That snow has me a little nervous - we're getting the rain right now from that storm. Hopefully it won't turn to snow..we already got some on Friday that wasn't too fun!

Hey great customs once again everyone!!!! Too many to quote now that I am all caught up!!! I just have to tell you that Iam having a love/hate relationship with my seam ripper today...UGG!!! Working on something new and I have already taken it apart twice....LOL. One of these days....hahahaha.

Megan wore her Marie outfit to school today (it is Tuesday so she could match her underwear) and lost one of her bows.

This is what I did today:

It was my first try with the ribbed knit around the collar, it got a little bunched in places. I made this a whole size bigger so hopefully he can wear it next winter too. He probably won't like spongebob next year! I would apologize for his hair, but he wears it this way on purpose. All the boys in his class do, I blame Zac Efron.

Wow..I love this! DH has been asking me to make ds a prince charming outfit...I will have to show it to him.

I have no idea what happen to the rest of my multiquotes...it seems that i am always messing it up! Love seeing all those customs, everyone...and I really like the princess outfit that Mickenjen made..I might CASE that for dd...and the care bear outfit is just too cute!

Yesterday in Dallas we got up to 88. Today it's not as warm, only around 55 but beautiful and sunny. I'm not trying to rub it in, especially since I am jealous and would kill for a snow day! We would love to be snowed in! We haven't been snowed in since we moved from Kansas 3 1/2 years ago. I miss it!

i have no idea if i am posting this in the right place so apologies if i am wrong, and please put me in the right direction.
i stumbled across these threads and have hopped skipped and jumped with my jaw on the floor, fantastic designs everybody,
and i have only had a sneak of a peak. i am setting my sights on an easy task as my youngest dd is 12 when i re visit wdw and though i would love her to wear some of these beautifull outfits i know she wont but i do know that she would wear the fantastic hair bows. the kind of layered up ones with several different ribbons.
wher do i find a pattern to make these????

i am going back to look in more detail but await a reply in order that i can attempt to be creative with a needle !!!!

hoping to lift jaw from floor too!!

Oh Heather! I am consistently amazed by you! Fantastic Job! Sawyer looks so cute! I love it!

I was having this trouble too. The t-shirt would stretch where I was appliqueing and get all puckery and icky, even with the stabilizer on the back. Now I apply the fabric that I am appliqueing, the stabilizer, then I baste a couple of inches apart horizontally and vertically. It keeps everything smoothe! After I am finished I just pull the basting out.

Ooh, that is a good idea! I'll have to try that!

In the first post there is a link to Teresa's bookmarks. Look under hair things and you will find lots of links for instructions on how to make them. Also, we have a photobucket account in the first post where you can see what all we've made, and some have made for older kids and even ourselves. I think a ribbon t-shirt would look great on a 12 year old. HTH!
