me, well I am and just a minute of , still cant' sit too long. Had to drive in the car for 2 hr today and I am just SOOOO SORE.


On a side note , DH got the girls canopies hung up while we were out and when they walked into their room, they just stopped and gasped, and Hannah said " Mommy wook at my castle, and herms too" translation mommy look at my castle and hers (meaning Emily) too. It was soooo worth the sore butt to get them out of the house.

On a side note , DH got the girls canopies hung up while we were out and when they walked into their room, they just stopped and gasped, and Hannah said " Mommy wook at my castle, and herms too" translation mommy look at my castle and hers (meaning Emily) too. It was soooo worth the sore butt to get them out of the house.

Sorry to hear about the bum. But that is so sweet of your DH to hang the canopies for your DD's. My DD also has a canopy. Canopies always make little girls feel like they are royalty.

Hello, ladies! I have been a lurker here since the first thread, and I have been so inspired by all of you that I am creating my very own Disney outfits for my daughter to wear during our upcoming trip in April. I will be posting pictures as I get them done, but just wanted to thank you in advance for the inspiration.

Welcome!

I lurk more than anything because I am busy with life. I use my vintage White sewing machine while my daughters use an older Singer featherweight. I have been inspired, too, to sew even more because of the ladies here. Hmmm, I might want to get a computerized machine soon.

As a child my mom sewed us kids almost all of our clothes. I am proud to continue that legacy - except she wasn't the one who taught me. (lol) Sure I would look and observe ...and salivate!!!! I eventually learned on my own and in home ec classes in school. I also enrolled in more classes with my 16yo daughter. I hope we all eventually teach our kids to love sewing as much as we do.

I just finished a rosy shabby chic purse. Nothing fancy, just something I wanted for me to hold my library books.

You all do such lovely work!

Good luck!! We have one this weekend too. And, unfortunately, my DH and littlest DD will miss it, because my DH's cousin is getting married in Orlando, at 9:30am, and we hit the mat at 9:12am. And obviously, we'll miss the wedding.

Ok, sadly, I didn't realize that Seaworld was even getting a new water park!!! WHERE have I been?!?!!? It does look cool, so I'm sure that we'll go sometime in the future!

Isn't it supposed to cold this weekend? Everytime I think it's done being cold, we get another snap.

I love CarlaC's aline jumper! I hope your boutique items sell quickly, I wish we had someplace around here like that, we probably do but I don't know where. There is a place where my mom lives and the owner is always asking her to sew for it. Good luck with the pieces and that baby is so stinkin cute, you should always include a picture of her with your posts!

that is what is heading our way this am, started snowing here about 1/2 hr ago. So pretty. We have that same playhouse and had the same trouble with the roof, finall DH put some screws with anchors in the roof and fastened it to the sides. Hope you found the roof.
