Have a good night...er...Good Morning! I'm going to bed now...honest....:scared:

You KNOW you have to invite the disboutiquer-locals to the boutique, riiiight? And these locals may have a dd sized around or about size 5 ish and 10ish? Hypothetically. It'd be super cool if there were bows at this boutique too. Heh.:flower3:

LOVE everything, mama!

Does anyone have any tips for appliquéing?(ok, I think that is spelled wrong lol_ I am tring it for the first time and I am practicing before I put what I want on a t-shirt. I just did my first practice one and I have pucking around it?

Are you using a stabilizer? My tips are trace your image onto fusible web, and make sure the image is in reserve of what you really want and that the fusible web is sewable. Roughly cut around your image and iron it onto the fabric you want to use for that piece. Finely cut around the edges, I usually cut right on the line, and then iron the piece down. Now take the item you ironed your applique to, like a tee shirt, and turn it inside out. On the backside of where you put your applique you will need to iron on a piece of stabliizer that is big enough to cover where your applique is. Carefully turn the gament right side out, and sew away...
Also be sure your tension isn't set too high, and your stitch is wide enough. I recommend doing it a few times on some scraps of fabric, until you get your settings just right. Good luck..

Thanks.. I did us fusible web to iron my piece down and think I did that right. Stabilizer is different that fusible webbing right? I will get the hang of this lol

Should I not tell you that it is in the 80s today...
The pictures are beautiful though..I'm a jersey girl at heart.

Good luck!! :cheer2: We have one this weekend too. And, unfortunately, my DH and littlest DD will miss it, because my DH's cousin is getting married in Orlando, at 9:30am, and we hit the mat at 9:12am. And obviously, we'll miss the wedding.

We sadly, don't have a place for miss ireland to go to cheer competitively..
she does gymnastics at the moment, but I'd love to get her into dance and cheer. She's very athletic, VERY unlike her Mom...:confused3 so I'd like to take advantage of it while she's young.

I finally finished Sawyer's Prince Charming outfit!! I have no partially finished projects now!

Seriously this has to be the cutest thing I've ever seen. I mean WOW Its just incredible. How handsome he looks just like Prince Charming. I LOVE this!

I just updated my TR! If I don't post this here, no one will ever read it! :rotfl:

that is what is heading our way this am, started snowing here about 1/2 hr ago. So pretty. We have that same playhouse and had the same trouble with the roof, finall DH put some screws with anchors in the roof and fastened it to the sides. Hope you found the roof.

This snow is headed our way, too. Supposed to start this evening.:scared1:
Maybe school will be canceled and I can spend the day sewing!;)

I was having this trouble too. The t-shirt would stretch where I was appliqueing and get all puckery and icky, even with the stabilizer on the back. Now I apply the fabric that I am appliqueing, the stabilizer, then I baste a couple of inches apart horizontally and vertically. It keeps everything smoothe! After I am finished I just pull the basting out.

JHAM!!!

I just got our held mail today! Thank you so much for the appliques!! They're perfect!!

Now, I just have to figure out when in my days I am going to get everything done....

You are welcome! Just post pictures when you get them sewn on something! And the misc. money floating around in there was to reimburse shipping on the minnie fabric. Sorry, I meant to throw it in a card or at least add a note, but it did not happen :rotfl:

This is too cute. I absolutely love it.
Congratulations on no partially finished projects. I on the other hand have only two left to complete.

thanks,
The tiny level 1 team has been undefeted all year (this is there 7th comp.) and got a Level ! Grand Champion at one event.
THe mini Level 2 Team has been 1st place in 6 competitions and 2nd place in one competition. The second place one they dropped 2 stunts. They are thinking of next year making these girls a mini level 3! Yikes!

Lori
Yikes is right!!! Emily's team is only a mini level 1, but they are working on getting to a level 2, because they want to do extensions with Emily! Whew!! I'm not sure if this mama wants that to happen yet!!!:scared1:

AWWWW!!! How precious!!!

That is sooo exciting! Congrats!!! :cheer2: I love the whole cheer scene...it's been really good for Seli, helped overcome her shyness---you should see her now, you'd NEVER know she'd had a shy bone in her body! And it's a TOUGH sport! Those girls work hard! Especially when they're winning championships every five minutes! GREAT JOB!!!!
That's my Emily! She used to be SO, SO shy, but cheerleading has made her really come out of her shell. We're a rec team, because we cheer for flag football in the fall, but this year they decided to make a Jr. Elite squad out of the little girls (we have had an "elite" squad with the older girls for years). Anyway, Emily has LOVED cheerleading, and she's really good at it, and proclaimed to me the other day that she's "never quitting cheerleading".
