I just caught the tail end of the game. DH is happy. He's a native NYer.
I figured out something really important today. I think it's pretty obvious to most that I've done little more than maintain my weight for the last year. Now I know why. I did the math on the 12 x goal weight, and here's what I found. My goal weight is 142. 142 x 12 = 1704. My current weight hovers around 155. 155 x 12 = 1860. Difference between the two totals? 156 calories. That means if I sneak an ounce of chocolate, or don't measure the calorie-dense foods like peanut butter or salad dressing, I can easily eat the difference between my current weight and my goal weight. So I need to be super-vigilant if I want to lose these last 13 lbs. And I DO want to lose them. So live and learn.
