Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

We normally stay onsite but helping friends who are staying offsite.

Have seen 2 different things so want to come here to ask the experts!

They are staying offsite and will have 4 day tickets with a start date of March 16, 2026. On March 13th, can they book LLMP/LLSP for all 4 days of their tickets or, only March 16th on the 13th, March 17th on the 14th, etc?

TIA!
Their tickets have a start date, so they are "date-based" tickets. Those with dated-based tickets can purchase for the "total number of valid admission days" three days before the first day of their ticket. So, they can do it all on March 13. The answer is different with other ticket types and annual passes.

Thanks so much!!

Wanted to share my plan in case anyone is also trying to do LLMP/LLSP for EPCOT/DHS on same day. We reached our 7 day window before resort check in, allowing us to book LLMP/LLSP for the entire duration of our stay. At 7+4 we are going to EPCOT/DHS, starting out at EPCOT. I was able to book Remy for 9am with LLMP and I also booked two other throwaway LLMP at EPCOT. I booked a LLSP for Rise at 10:15. Once we tap into Remy right at 9 (8:55 if possible lol) I'll shoot for the stars and try to snag a same day LLMP for Frozen for the evening. I will also modify the two throwaway LLMP I have and book MMRR and Smuggler's since I will have unlocked my multipark LLMP by tapping into Remy. This all happens on 3/18 so I'd be happy to update how it goes!

Thank you to those on this board for having helped me navigate this!

Keep in mind that the Lightning Lane grace period has been extended to 2 hours beyond the end of your reservation window.

That could come in handy if you pull Frozen passes for earlier in the day than you plan to return to Epcot.

As an example, on a recent visit we rode Remy about noon then headed over to DHS even though we had Frozen at 1 pm. Knowing that we had until 4 pm to get back to Frozen made our afternoon go much smoother.

Good afternoon, this will be my first time booking lightning lanes under the current system. My question is, when I go in the week before my arrival to select my lightning lanes, do I have the ability to order them in which ones I want to be first? For example, let's say I want to select Tiana, Haunted Mansion, and Winnie the Pooh for my LLs. If I am planning on rope dropping 7DMT or Peter Pan would I have the ability to tell the system when I am booking that I want my Winnie the Pooh LL to be the first one of the day? I know the system won't let you have more than one LL in a specific hour block so I want to know if I can choose how they are ordered.

Yes you pick them in any order, and you also get to pick any available time. By default your first pick will return times as early as possible. Then your second LLMP attraction will be at least (1) hour later then the time you finally chose for your first LLMP, and on to your third initial selection.

Once you have your 3 selections, you still have 5 minutes to adjust any of them before you need to complete the purchase step.

You are also able to book any park day in any order. Does this make sense?

Thank you yes I do know that! Such a good tip

Dave,

Thank you for your reply. I watched a couple videos on it. It looks like you select all three at once. Once you do that would you click on modify times to move them around? Or can I pre-rank them on my tip board?

Oh my, I did not know that. I’m booking tomorrow, that is very helpful information, especially with a 4 year old in our group.

We had a 5 year old and an expecting mother in our group so I know what you mean. It’s very nice to not feel rushed around the parks trying to meet a window that may not match our speed or timing.

Bummer. Was going to splurge on Premier pass for MK, but it was sold out already at 7 AM. It was available for later in the trip, but DD didn't want to rearrange our other plans. So I will be spending time on my phone during our MK day!

If someone was offering to get PP I’d happily begin changing my plans! That’s a huge gift you offered!

Hey...enjoy the crazy expensive amount of money you're going to save.

The Premier Pass (PP) is sold out is sold out through next Wednesday, March 18 at MK. We are in peak Spring Break.

Dave
Yeah, that is the day I was looking for. I did it first thing at 7 AM, and it let me select it, but when I got to the payment it said not available. It was still available for the 19th (at least yesterday morning) but DD didn't want to rearrange her dining & Droid Depot reservations, so we will be winging it with EE and our 3 LL. DH is in his 70's and walking back and forth from Fantasyland to Adventureland will definitely make his ankle hurt! The 4 yo won't know what he is missing. We do have a day on Friday to hit up whatever park they want to go back to.

No, split stays have no impact on LLMP and/or LLSP booking date start. Just make sure your resorts are linked in MDE. You start at 7 AM, 7 days before your first resort day.

Dave
Hi, Dave,

We have an upcoming stay and it's split, although we're staying at the same resort in the same room category the entire time. We ended up booking the final 2 days of the stay long after we'd reserved the first 7 and so far we have had zero luck getting any CM to link the stays together. If this is relevant, the first part of the stay was booked with a bounceback and the last 2 days with an AP discount.

We were unable to book the ADRs for the 2nd part of the split when we booked ADRs for the first 7 days. So now I'm wondering if we're going to have the same problem with LL bookings.

Any help you can give is appreciated! TIA!

Split stays are handled differently with ADRs than with LL. If you have a consecutive-night split stay, you can book LL for the entire stay. But you can only book ADRs for each individual room reservation, 60 days plus the length of stay for each reservation. If you have 2 parts to your split stay, you needed to book ADRs at 2 different times (as you mention). But you should be fine booking your LLs for the entire stay. We've done it many times......

Thank you!!! I shall report back in April when I make the LLs.

I am not sure what you mean by linking your (2) reservations together. If you have linked the (2) reservations to your MDE profile you are all good as long as both show are showing for LL purposes. @thanxfornoticin covered the LL part of your questions.

Are both of your (2) reservations book in the same room category so that you might be able to stay in the same room? It is easier for you and Disney to not have to move you, and turn over both rooms.

You are able to call Central reservations at (407) 934-7639, and have your (2) reservations linked in the system as continuing reservation. You just need to provide the CM both reservation numbers. The CM will add notes to both reservations that way the resort will attempt if at all possible to schedule in the same room.

It is also a good idea to stop at the Front desk during the first day or your second day, and confirm that your (2) reservations are shown in the local resort system as linked.
