I thought I would share my virtual model...which is pretty accurate.

January,

I used that site a few years ago (or one like it anyway)... what is it again? It is very motivating.

Thanks.

I lost 4 lbs this week! Very happy about that. I really worked hard each time I went to the gym this week. I didn't make the absolute best choices when it came to food but most days were good.

I am down a total of 16lbs so far! :sunny:

Shirley and Kelly...the website is Virtual Model

Now I feel really bad... the models don't even go to my size. :sad2: I have to lose 50 lbs just to use this site.

I swear I used this site or a similar one in the past and I wasn't that much smaller than I am now.

Way to go! I should have been down four this week, but I mades some poor food choices so I am only down 2. My goal each week is to try to catch up to you. I almost had you last week....we were only 1 lb away from each other. This week you pulled ahead by another 2 so I am down 3 from you! It keeps me trying each week, so thank you for your hard work!
Sarah

I gained yet another pound this week. I think I need to get some visual reminders up around my house. To help me. I know this week I didn't excercise as much as I know I should've. But it's the start of a new week! :woohoo: Grats to those that lost. To those that didn't, Just keep going! Don't look back. :teeth:

good morning everyone! I seem to be missing MANY weights this week. I know I was out of town, but no reason to not PM! I cleaned out my box before I left. :)

Anyway, you know who you are some come on and PM! :)

I had a hard day yesterday. We went out to eat, it was beautiful out! My dh and I split a meal, but we still ate too much and not healthy stuff. Then last night I had a cup of icecream too. It was deffinitely too much food. I hope I can buckle down and still pull off a loss this coming week.
Sarah

Wow, Its been awhile! Congrats to all for your successes, it sounds like you guys are doing this the healthy way.

Which brings me to Mac, who admitted that she's not being healthy, but that she also stopped purging. Please don't diet like this. In fact don't diet at all. You have to find a way to eat well that you can do forever. That doesn't mean you never eat fries again, it means you don't have them as often as you once did. If you restrict your calories by fasting your body just learns to do more with less food. Your metabolism slows down and you will not lose weight. You must must must keep eating and exercising, if you are doing both you can have between 1500 and 1800 calories a day and still lose weight.

Now I sound really *****y, but mostly I'm worried that we might be making ourselves less healthy and I'd rather we were all heavy and healthy than thin and unhealthy.

As for myself, I'm constant, I started running soon after Boston, but my achilles problems aren't solved. I'm getting orthotics after my next race and combine 3 or 4 days of running with 2 day of swimming and 2 days of weights/core work (meaning some days I do two activities). I'm tapering down for my next race, always a hard thing because you are convinced that you should keep working hard but what your body really needs is rest to be ready for the race.

Madison, Wisconsin, Mad City Marathon, 7:30 AM, Sunday May 28. Send me some pixie dust, they say its going to be hot!

do like kim said, don't follow my diet.

it is difficult stopping purging so i needed to see quick results in order not to relapse to extremely unhealthy ways.
i was under the care of a specialist for 2 years to get a handle of binging and purging. it's a mental illness. i feel confident those ways are behind me now.

i have now reached my goal of the quick weight loss and starting on friday, i go to calorie counting diet along with my curves sessions.

i'll keep in contact and post here now i will be starting a real diet.

kim, how long are you going to be in madison?

it's a bit over 2 hour drive for me from my house.
do you have time to meet a friend?
a fat friend that is..........lol

Sarah, one sort of bad day does not a gain make. I think you'll do fine. Just keep on going. :)

Good to see you Kim and thank you to everyone who PMed me. I guess since I wasn't around to remind everyone on Tuesday some forgot but I'll let it slide this week. :thumbsup2

Also, when you PM me your weight, please PM me your actual weight and not what you lost. It just makes it easier for me. :)

Wow. I thought I would pop in and no posts since mine. Very quiet in here this week. Too quiet. ;)

I'll see you all on Tuesday!

Well, I am having an absolutely horrible week as far as eating is concerned! I have been absolutely pigging out, and I am betting I will be gaining a considerable amount of weight this week. I am trying to get back on the band wagon, but am having a really hard time!

I know how you feel. I thought I did okay this past week eating but I seemed to have gained instead, very disappointing. I guess tomorrow will tell.

Sarah, I'm sorry. :( Did anything trigger it? Generally if I am pigging out, I'm upset or stressed about something. :grouphug:

The only advice I can give is to take stock of what you have done so far and be good to yourself. The next time you go to eat something you know you shouldn't, or too much of it, do something else instead for a few minutes. Go for a walk, something like that, and see if you still want to do it when you get done. Sometimes I count too, you know how they say if you're angry to count to ten first before acting or saying anything stupid, I do that with food sometimes. I can see it, but I count to then before doing anything about it so I can weigh what I am about to do in my head.
