Well I am here... I have some good news and some bad news.

I am down 3lbs this week. I was up 2 last week so really I am down one more now.

The bad news is that I don't deserve this. I think it is only because my TOM ended a few days ago. I was very bad all week and only hit the gym a couple times. I can't seem to get back on track - I was doing so good and now I have just stopped all tracking and I started to eat what I want when I want, even fast food, and snack foods. I don't know why cause I really don't feel that great after I eat it... my stomach feels horrible and I am losing the energy I had. On one level, I keep saying this will be the last thing or once this food is gone from the house, that's it but even as I think that, I can tell I am already going to give myself permission to go beyond that. :sad2:
You can do it Kelli!!! (I hope I spelt that right!) Don't give up and keep trying! :woohoo:

You can do it Kelsco! You have to! You are the one I am really using to keep me trying! If you need to start at the begining, then do it! Start all over and do exactly what you would do if you were trying to start to lose weight, not just to continue to lose it! You can do it! We all can! And just think how great you will feel in that warm september sun at disneyworld with a bunch of fun ladies having a great time and feeling so much more comfortable in your own skin! PM me if you need, I am here for you! And I have faith in you!

Good job everyone! I lost one pound this week. I know that I could do much better than this. I guess I need to start counting points again. I know that the only reason that I lost anything at all is because I've been exercising. Drinking water is never a problem for me. Food choices, that continues to be my major issue. This is a new week. ;)

Keep trying everyone! Just keep thinking, if nothing else, there has been less gain than there otherwise would have been. Keep trying and we can do this, we can succeed!
Sarah

That's awesome! Way to go! Keep up the great work! Very cool, I hope I can do as well this week!

So I am very proud of myself. I went to a friends house for dinner last night and they served salmon, asperagus, and wild rice...all cooked in mass amounts of butter. I had small portions of everything and ate slowly. Also, before hand, I made sure to eat a bunch of the celery provided. Filling me, yet, no calories to really worry about. I had a good time. Drank a couple glasses of water, made sure to talk a lot and run after all the kids there. Between the 5 of us we have 5 boys all different ages!

So yesterday was my ds first birthday. He had his pictures taken and got his hair cut...he looks so cute, but I miss his curls. We saved them for his baby book. I ate pretty well, but will need to be careful today as we are having a birthday party for him and he will be having his first taste of cake! Yes, I am bringing a camera and video camera! Wish me luck...I need to stay on plan today as tomorrow we are going out for mothers day to a restaurant I really like! I know I will be having the prime rib sandwich and some fries so I am trying to save all my flex points for that!
Sarah

So today was not the best day for me. It was mothers day and I saved up most of my flex points for the week and most of my points for the day and then went all out at dinner. Had way too many fries and had a roll and a huge sandwich and I had diet pop instead of water. Well, I will just need to live with the consequences. Hope I can still pull off a loss for the week!
Good luck everyone.

Sarah if you saved up that many points I think you did great! It sounds like you could have been much worse. :thumbsup2

I went out for breakfast but only had one sausage and one bacon, one toast and one scrambled egg. It was a buffet line and they were serving about 3-4 times what I requested. Then I didn't eat until dinner time but dinner was at East Side Mario's ....mmmmm...linguine chicken tetrazine (sp), garden salad with house dressing, and sourdough bread.....mmmmmmm :cloud9:

I am trying to do things differently this time...in the past I have lost interest about this time and then I really just start eating all the time. This time I am really trying to bounce back after bad days and keep up my excercise. I have about 100 lbs to lose and I am giving myself 2 years to do it (and more if I need it). This way I can focus on changing bad habits forever not just for a diet. I might splurge for a full day but then I hope I can make up for it on other days. Being aware of the choices I make and holding myself accountable for them are my goals right now.

I am also working on a visual motivator - right now it's just a thought but I am thinking a collage of images that motivate me and remind me why I want to lose weight (toned woman, runners, my kids playing, my family members that are not healthy and have been overweight their whole lives, etc)

Anyhow, I think I've talked enough... Have a great day everyone! :sunny:

I think that is awsome that you are wanting to change you're lifestyle. That is soooooo much better then just dieting. That is what I am trying to do also!! I hope that everyone is having a Great Week!

i am very proud of all of you.

hang in there and you will be so thrilled at the end of the summer on what you have accomplished.

i dropped out of the weight challenge but will still drop by to post to encourage all of you.

i diet differently and lose when i set my mind to it.
i was concerned it would sound like i was bragging to post my losses. so i thought i should drop out.

what i do is no longer purge. i drink sugar water when i am so hungry i can't stand it. i fast 2 days a week and exercise at curves 6 times a week.
i go overboard on this diet thing. when i do eat, i only take in 1000 calories a day.

at night i drink a cup of sugar water to stop the hunger pains so i can sleep.
i put 2 tsp of sugar in very hot water and drink it. the sugar makes my stomach think i have food in me and the calories i take in with that is burned up while i sleep.
i am down 20 lbs now and 12 inches from when i started in march 21.

i know my way of losing weight is not a good way but it stops me from binging and purging. this style of dieting i have is only for 3 months.
i need a quick start way to lose weight so i don't give up.

when i go off of this, i will start the 1200 to 1400 calories a day .
my weight will be probably a pound a week then.

stay with your diet and walking and exercises and you will see a change soon.

good luck homies !!

Hi, ladies! I hope everyone is doing great today!
Sarah, eating a little extra one day is not going to make a difference when you look at the big picture. You have already lost 11 pounds! That is incredible! Keep up the great work and before you know it-you will be at your goal! WW is a great program to follow if you are trying to make a permanent change in your eating habits. It really is something that I can live with the rest of my life. It is nice to see someone else following the same program. :goodvibes
Kelly, you are funny! Buffets are so hard, especially when you are trying to lose weight. Your food choices were probably as good as it can be, considering it was a buffet. You kept your portions small...that is a KEY to weight loss. I think one of the reasons people gain weight is the amount of food they eat, not just what they eat. You are doing great! I can't say don't beat yourself up, because I do the same thing to myself. I always get down on myself if I feel I screwed up.
Well, tomorrow is weigh-in...I know it will show a small loss or I stayed the same. I am approaching TOM and I feel bloated. I want to get a duiretic...but DH refuses to allow me to buy those...(i was addicted to those and laxatives in HS. But that is another story..I am better now :) ). He is afraid I will get addicted again. I hate that bloated feeling! It is the worst! I try to drink a lot of water to counteract it, but then I get really nauseated.
Before I go, I wanted to share with you guys what is keeping me going withour a lot of "cheating". I hung up my swimsuit from before I got married and had DD. It is a size 4  . It is right over my desk. I also have some pics of my skinny days posted on the fridge and on the bathroom mirror. Looking at that and getting a reminder in every room I am in has kept me going. I hope you ladies have something that keeps you going. Something to motivate you, besides this trip :wizard: Good luck everyone! :grouphug:

Good morning everyone.

I have a class this morning so I thought I would get in early and wish everyone good luck on your weigh in. I lost a pound which puts me at 152.5, slowly but surely, I guess if I would do more exercise I would do better.

Have a great day! :cheer2:

I lost 2 lbs this week. Would have been more if not for mothers day! oh well, it is still a good loss.
Sarah
