sarah, i love hearing success stories and you have a great one to tell.


getting down to pre pregnancy weight is fantastic.



i am still keeping a journal and when i am not losing i look back and try to figure out where i went wrong.

i do the curves 6 x's a week
i walk daily
i count calories
i drink 5 bottles of water daily.


i think i hit the system that works for me.

routine has played the biggest part in my body size.
the more i do something, it sticks with me.
i would have never thought i could do exercises regularly.

keep up the good work girls.
our trip is going to be here soon.
you will be so glad to have stayed on the weight loss challenge
 
Unfortunately I think what I posted came out wrong. I am not to pre-pregnancy weight yet, I am just the smallest I have been since being pregnant. I still have 30 more pounds to get rid of to be at pre pregnancy weight, but I am excited to get the numbers down. Thanks for all your encouragement and sorry about the mis-communication!

sarah, you are still doing great.
it is one pound at a time that counts.

the 30 will come off over the months.

i find walking helps me from eating too much.
when i want to eat more than i should, i take a walk.


30 might seem like a big number to tackle but it isn't.

if you drop 3 to 4 pounds a month, you will have lost between 15 to 20 pounds in the next 5 months. and i expect a dress size will change for you then. you could have months you lose more or less than that but in the end, it will average out to close to one pound a week.

Thanks so much! I was just looking back over the past few months and realized that since the end of february when I started trying to lose weight I have lost 26lbs and I think I will be down another 3-4 this week (the week after T.O.M. is always a good loss week). That means I could be down 30 with 30 to go! I am really hoping to be able to lose those last 30 by the time we meet up in WDW. I know it is quite a lot, so I won't be all upset if I don't quite make it, but that is a goal anyway. Good tip with the walking. With the weather getting nicer that will be more of an option for me!

i think 30 is possible.
last year i went on a diet in march and by sept 25 i had lost 42 pounds.

i did regain 12 in disney.

then came the winter and i gained more.

i am stil not near where i was last year on weight,but it will happen.

yea, 30 is very possible

It's a brand new week and I'm ready to go. I packed my gym bag last night. Got up this morning and made myself breakfast and some lunch to take to work with me. I haven't been doing that the last few weeks and I know it's been one of my downfalls. I have to make the time to make something to take with me because not eating while I'm at work leaves me too open to temptation and cravings and there is tons of good stuff around there to satisfy any whim I may have. :sad2:

Well, I have to get going so I can get my full routine in today. I've been procrastinating around the house here lately so even though I've been going to the gym I haven't had time to get in the workouts that I should. Time to stop cutting the corners, I'm only cheating myself.

You are doing awesome! Good thinking about having food to eat instead of giving in to temptation! I try to eat every 2-3 hours. I spread my meals out. It has really helped me keep my appetite in check. Working out makes a big difference, too! :goodvibes
You will be at your goal weight before you know it! Keep it up! :thumbsup2 We are all going through it with you! I am trying to lose 50 pounds. It seems to be taking forever, but, if I had not stuck with it I would still have about 100+ to lose. Time is going to pass, might as well make good use of it. :teeth:
 
Good luck everyone o weigh in tomorrow! I can't believe it has already been 6 weeks! Keep plugging away and I know we will get to the healthy weight we want to be at. I have to say if it hadn't been for all of you, I probably would have quit when I had weeks where I stayed the same, but thanks to your support I have kept trying and I am that much closer to goal!

I think I lost simply by virtue of the fact that I was so busy with everyone sick, I didn't have time to hardly eat!

Morning everyone. Well, I lost two pounds this week. Finally made my 5 for April! ;) lol.

That's 5 pounds lost though, and hopefully another 25 by September. I'm going to do my best.
 
Well I didnt have a very successful week... gained 2 lbs. It's intresting though how when I dont feel good I dont take care of myself the way I should. I'm feeling a little better, even if I'm not ready to go out power walking just yet I'm going to get back on track with my little diet. :teeth: I hope that everyone had success this week and if you didnt... start of a new week!! :grouphug: YOU CAN DO IT!!

Ah...but mac. I didn't lose five in April. I lost five as of today. :)

Well, technically I guess I did lose five in April considering I gained three at Disney. :rolleyes:
 
:wave: Good morning ladies. Well I lost 1.5 lbs this week. :cheer2: I am happy that I lost but boy I wish I could lose more and much quicker but I guess slow is better maybe less chance of gaining it back. I would just love to make it to 149 and get below the dreaded 150 mark.

I am down 3 this week! The past 3 weeks before this I had lost a total of 2 lbs so this feels really good! I have this week off from work, so I am trying to get out of the house and get lots of little things done that I have been putting off. That is keeping me busy, so hopefully I will do well this coming week as well! Good luck everyone!

I am only down .5 lb (and I think I lost that one a couple of weeks ago). But I finally cleaned out the kitchen, of all of the salty, junk food, so hopefully this week will go better.

Way to go everyone on their weight loss! :cheer2:

Well I am here... I have some good news and some bad news.

I am down 3lbs this week. I was up 2 last week so really I am down one more now.

The bad news is that I don't deserve this. I think it is only because my TOM ended a few days ago. I was very bad all week and only hit the gym a couple times. I can't seem to get back on track - I was doing so good and now I have just stopped all tracking and I started to eat what I want when I want, even fast food, and snack foods. I don't know why cause I really don't feel that great after I eat it... my stomach feels horrible and I am losing the energy I had. On one level, I keep saying this will be the last thing or once this food is gone from the house, that's it but even as I think that, I can tell I am already going to give myself permission to go beyond that. :sad2:
