Good Morning, Ladies. :sunny:

I'm sorry that I haven't been around the last few weeks. Just dealing with a lot right now still trying very hard to get over the boyfriend thing and also work issues and not feeling well and blah blah blah. I hate excuses, especially when they come out of my mouth.

So anyway, I don't remember if I reported on here or not, I have been pming Kat my weigh ins, just haven't been posting like I should. I gained 2lbs. one week and the rest of the weeks I've just been staying the same. Well, this morning I am SO very HAPPY to report that I am down 3lbs.! Woo Hoo! :woohoo: That gets rid of the 2 I gained, gives me one more to the good for a total of 4 lost for the challenge so far. I was so happy to get to change my ticker this morning, it was getting sad. So now I'm down to 226. It's really nice and really encouraging to see the scale go down after about 3 weeks of not moving.

I've been doing fairly well with my meals, now if I could just get back to the gym... One thing at a time.

I hope you all have a great day! :wave2:

Congratulations on the weight lose and hope that everything gets better as time goes on.

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone does well on their weigh-ins this morning!
I didn't gain or lose anything this week... I figured that.

Good morning ladies.

That time again, this week I lost 1.5 lbs bringing my total weight loss to 7lbs. In some ways I am happy and some ways I'm not, just can't make me happy I guess. :teeth: I was hoping to be further along in the weight loss but at least it is a loss, considering the first 2 or 3 weeks I just stayed the originial weight.

I think I'm more disappointed because I can't see a difference in the lower region. I can see it in the top part, thank heavens the ladies were getting in the way sometimes. :lmao: When I measure I can see where I have lost inches (well an inch since I just started measuring last week) when will I be able to see it? Okay enough whining now. :teeth:

I hope everyone has a great weigh in and keep up the good work.

kat and all:

can i rejoin this group since i am now on a real diet of counting calories?

princess, hang in there.
losing the love of your life is traumatic. you will get past this in time.
look forward to meeting you in the fall.

we all have things that happen to us that are so very unpleasant to deal with.
i will be thinking of you as i have been there before myself on my first divorce. it sucks and is hard to deal with at times.

concentrate on improving you with that weight loss. you are on the right track now and seeing results. don't give up.
a lot of us here are struggling with the weight. i should have started my diet in january as i feel the pressure to take it off fast.
i have stopped binging/purging and fasting.

it is really hard to diet !
but, it will be accomplished. even if i don't hit my goal, i will still lose weight and be better off for it.

Absolutely Mac. I've lost a few people in the last couple of weeks so you're a welcome readdition. (is that even a word?)

Shirley. I'm in the same boat. I have lost 6.5 since the start. But I'm not going to give up. I know with some work I can do better. I just need to get my act together. Sage starts camp next week so hopefully before picking him up I can hit the gym here. Or at least get out on my walks again.

Thank you everyone for the PMs. I am really proud of you all for keeping on.

So this week I lost 2 lbs. I think a lot of that is attributed to not eating hardly anything this last week. I guess that's the one good thing about a stomach bug! Feeling better today, but tummy is still queasy. Hope that everyone has a great week!! Mac, welcome back to the challenge! :woohoo:

Yeah. Losing weight via a stomach bug is not the most pleasant. ;)

I just realized I never gave an update on the board this week...

I remained the same again this week... I haven't been to the gym in almost 2 weeks. Since I started training and doing a 7am-3:30pm shift, I feel like I have even less time than I did before. :confused3

I really liked my old schedule where some days were late till midnight and some started at 9am. I found that I could be really flexible about when I went to the gym and I was able to fit it in at 4-5 days of the week. I think those days are gone :sad2:

 At least you haven't gained though right? :woohoo: Since Alek has been out of school I havent been walking. I think I wanted to let myself enjoy sleeping in a little. :teeth: I think next week I will start walking again. Keep it up everyone!!

thanks wendy.
i was shy about asking. i have wanted to return since i stopped the fasting
now i go to curves 6 x a week and count calories.

sometimes i count a LOT of calories........hahahaha

i have been in curves since march 21. i have had to miss 21 days/ 3 full weeks so far due to being out of town.

i had my body fat test today.
when i started it was 42.1 %
today i was at 35.5%

my goal is 30%, well that's what curves said is what is acceptable.
they chart they gave me said to come in between 24.5% to 30%

hope all of you are successful on weigh in tuesday

We are glad you're back Mac - we never wanted you to go in the first place :)

I am having a bad week. very bad. I can't seem to get back on track. I keep eating bad and making excuses to not excercise. I think I am bored and busy with so many things right now.

miss canada, thank you for the greeting. it touched me.

i know it is hard to get back on track.
you will do it once you are ready to.

start off with just taking 30 minute walks. then tell yourself, this is better than doing nothing.

buy or rent from a video store an exercise video. richard simmons has a good one out. at anytime of the day or night, you can pop that dvd in and exercise in front of the tv. don' t have to get dressed as you would if you went out for a walk. and, it is climate controlled in your house, no sun or rain to prevent you from doing this.

think back to the weight you have lost and that can motivate you.

you will hit your goal kelly.

Hey ladies. Just checking in. Having a bad day...maybe having a bad week. I don't know if I am just bored, depressed, or what... but whatever it is I am not making the best choices.

Went to Burger King today. Not good. Ate too many "goodies" tonight. I'm not doing much about exercising lately. I'm just not doing much about anything this week.

Well, mostly just wanted to "confess". Hope everyone is having a better week than I am. :thumbsup2

i went to the chinese buffet in town last night.

i ate too much.
i stepped on the scale this morning and looks like i gained.

i have 2 days to work on this.
i don't exercise on sundays, that's my rest day but monday, i will walk besides the curves.

hang in there kat.
if i was going to make wrong choices,
i would choose burger king also.
they have awesome food.

:teeth:
