So we are going to Disney Feb 25-March 3. We booked the days before looking at airlines because we are going for DD 5th birthday. When I looked at the flights there was a $500 difference to fly the day before ($500 cheaper to fly on Feb 24) so I booked that day. Now I am not sure what to do. We are doing the free dining that starts on Feb 25. Should I call and see if we can add the 24th to our trip with no free dining or stay at a hotel outside Disney for the 1st night and then move there.

Any ideas ? I am trying to save $$$ thanks!

You could book a room just for the 24th at the world - that way you can still use ME. It would be a separate reservation and you might have to change rooms on the 25th though.

Have fun!

thanks I was thinking this but didnt know if it would mess everything else up..

Book a separate room and have them link the reservations together. You shouldn't have to move (we haven't had to before)

We've done this before and just checked in again, we stayed in the same room both times.

We just did this also for our trip last month. We had a room only for our first night and then a package starting the next day with free dining.

When we checked in I asked about our reservation that started the next day to make sure we were in the same room and we weren't, but they switched us right then so we wouldn't have to change rooms. I went down and rechecked in the following morning, so that our food plan was active for breakfast and any ADRs we had starting that day. One nice thing about it was that we were able to eat at Fulton's without feeling guilty for not using our dining plan, we did that our first night before it kicked in.

Have a great trip!
