Did anyone watch Rock Star: INXS last night?

It sure was an interesting episode. You could really see who felt comfortable in front of the camera. If Jordis hates it that much, maybe she should think about another job. And J.D. was such a baby with his comments on the website.

It really was a good episode! Jordis has very little confidence at the moment. She's showing she's not ready for something like this and I wouldn't be surprised if she's the next to go. Besides not being comfortable in the photo shoot (which is understandable) she had no direction and no input in the practice session with her original song.

I thought Mig looked like Rod Stewart at the photo shoot. Suzie was having a great time, as usual. JD is just a weirdo and I didn't care for Marty's new do.

Mig is hot when he covers his ears and loses the hobbit look! What a 6 pack!

What I find lacking in all the singers is they're not sultry or sexy. None of them are sultry like Michael Hutchence was. They just don't exude that vibe for me. I've seen glimpses of it in Mig but that's it.

I didn't find JD to be a jerk tonight. He actually seemed kind of fun. Unless Jordis pulls it together she's going home next. I can't wait to hear Marty's original song, Trees, because it sounds awesome!

Why was Brooke wearing her pajamas?

Ok, here goes my take:

We are definately down to the best talent, they all are great.

JD - Ok, I hate to admit, but I have crossed over to the Dark Side. I think he is my second favorite despite his antics. Close your eyes during his original song, and you would swear it was INXS.

Suzie - I think she is a great singer, both songs were awesome, but I don't think she is the best fit for "Our Band INXS." Not only because she is a female, but her style is not theirs.

Mig - Really didn't care for his original song. He is still in my top 3, but something about him makes me not want him to win.

Jordis - We Are The Champions sounded kind of bar-bandish to me, but I thought her original song was great. Again though, just dont' see a female lead singer.

Marty - Still my number one. In the first song, that INXS voice I heard in his first performance really shined through. And his original song was great, I found myself wanting to dance along.

I go with Marty for the encore.

Bottom three is hard, but I say Suzie, Jordis, and Mig.

JD: Welcome back JD! Loved his original song! I can’t think of a single negative about his performance. Great vocals, great interaction with the audience, great stage presence.

Suzie: I just found it ok. I think I preferred Deanna’s version. I certainly prefer Bonnie Rait’s version. Her original song left me feeling nothing. Just blah.

Mig: While I enjoyed his first performance, I can’t stand how he pixie hops across the stage and has his hair styled in the hobbit look. Sorry but I just can’t get past his “look”. Things improved dramatically when he started to take his shirt off! The ballad – blah, too sugary, syrupy, pop like. I hated it. It sounded like something any 13 year old girl would write. I would have enjoyed it a lot more had Mig just stood on stage with his shirt open for 2 minutes.

Jordis: Where did her stage presence go? She seems so concentrated with singing that she’s not connecting well with the audience and she seems frozen to the same spot. And why can’t she sing her OWN original song. Can’t she do this on her own? Bye bye Jordis. It’s been a nice ride and I look forward to hearing more from her in a few years after she’s had some time to mature as a performer.

Marty:You and me up in the trees, la la la la la, baby you and me up in the trees, la la la la la la….a recipe for disaster…that song will be in my head all week! I loved it! Marty rocked it out! He is so much more dynamic than Mig! I don’t care who becomes INXS’s lead singer. I’m buying Marty’s albums!

Umm...no complaints from me .

Looking at the early results right now, they pretty much follow what I thought for the show. So, here's the early results and my thoughts:

1) Marty - Honestly, I really didn't like "Everlong" at all. But, his original song was far and above the best. I'm still singing it now. Honestly, I think he's got this whole show in the bag now. I think INXS loves him. Personally, he's my pick at this point, too.

2) Suzie - Beautiful version of "I Can't Make You Love Me." Just great. Her original was good, but a little too much like something Ty would sing (and that's not a compliment). That said, she's my second favorite in the competition.

3) JD - I must admit that I liked his original and despite his smugness, he's pretty decent. That being said, as a guy, all that playing to the ladies and kind of straddling the mic stand that he did kind of turns me off. Then again, that's just a rock star thing, I know.

4) MiG - I've never really liked him and this didn't change a thing. His original song was treacly and something that I could picture Celine Dion singing (once again, not really a compliment). Didn't really like his other song either. Plus, that whole ripping of the shirt thing made me laugh.

5) Jordis - Neither song did a thing for me. Her original (even though I have no idea what it's supposed to sound like) sounded out-of-key. Her "We Are the Champions" was pretty boring, too (then again, I hate that song). She was once a favorite, but she herself admits that she's not really playing to win.

LOL, when Brooke came out I thought, hmmmm...I used to have a gown like that.

I think JD has a great voice, and would be a good fit if he wasn't so strange, and such a DIVA. I think they would have real problems with him. If he was halfway normal, he might be my top pick. He'd definitely be second.

Which brings me to my first pick! Marty . I still think he does everything right. I love his voice, and loved his original song. My toes were tapping!

Suzie - I have to admit I love her. I didn't think she was that good at first, but she's coming on so strong. I don't think she's right for our band, lol, but I hope she gets a contract after this. She really has a beautiful voice.

Mig is just not doing it for me. I warm up to him then I'm cool again.

Jordis - poor thing. I think she has the talent, but she's overwhelmed and has little confidence at this point. I think she'll go home, but she really has a bright future ahead of her.

J.D.- I still can't stand him but he did great tonight. I still really like that original song of his.
Suzie- She definitely has the best voice- she can sing anything. 2nd week in a row that she sang a song that Constantine sang, but I think this one is probably a tie- I loved both of theirs
MiG- Great job with both but I understand what Dave and Tim were saying. It won't hurt him too badly though. Still don't get the non MiG fans. If it's his look that bothers you, close your eyes. That's what I had to do with Scott!
Jordis- I think she's giving up. She's nowhere near where she was in the beginning of the competition.
Marty- Still can't stand him. He drives me nuts and I don't think he's right for INXS. That being said "Trees" will be stuck in my head for the rest of the week.

JD-again to me he has a Muzac-Lounger singer tone. They said that Ty & Will moves felt staged, I think JD feel more so to me.

Suzie-She was great, she is getting more comfortable on stage each show.

Mig-Not my favorite tonight. But still think he would be a good fit.

Jordis-The girl is slipping each week-I think the pressure is getting her.

Marty-Loved his song Trees. And I liked his verson of Everlong

I wish they would make them sing really cheesy Pop songs-Totally 80's pop. INXS was pretty Pop in the 80's. I saw them live in 84 they opened for Adam Ant-I know I just lost everyones respect on that one.

1st song- I really didn't enjoy the change up of the song.
Original- Maybe I'd like it if someone else sang it? Just not a fan of JD's voice.

Suzie-
1st song- I liked it, she has a very pretty voice.
Original- I also enjoyed her original song.

Mig-
1st song- Eh... it was allright, nothing special though.
Original- It was OK but on the cheezy side.

Jordis-
1st song- Yeh no.
Original- I thought it was terrible.

Marty-
1st song-Now where I didn't like JD changing the song, I loved Marty's change up.
2nd song- I LOVED it!!! The only song I stopped typing to actually watch.

I'm really starting to believe that this contest might just come down to Suzie and Marty in the end, while up to this point I thought it would be Marty/Mig for sure. I think Marty will win it all, Our band INXS would be crazy to pass him up, he's a star.

I just went back and watched Marty's original again, that's a great song, loved it. By far the best of the night.

I didn't even really like the guy in the beginning but he ended up winning me over sometime around "Hit Me Baby One more Time".

I found myself enjoying JD's original even though I am totally not a fan of his. The old lady side of me did come out when I saw him toss the chair with the megaphone, I was thinking, "did someone get hit with that????"

I loved Marty's and Suzie's performances. Her voice was so pure.

What has happened to Jordis?? Every song she sings sounds exactly the same now, where in the beginning of the show, I thought she was very unique.
Mig - I just have nothing to say about him, positive or negative.....
