Did anyone watch Rock Star: INXS last night?

It really has been growing on me. For whatever reason I like Afterglow. Its a weird song but I like it. I didn't know that Suzie was singing on the cd so when I heard her voice I had to look and see who it was.

...I like the first song, and "Hot Girls" is a pretty cool song, too....

Marty's CD is coming out on Jan 24th, self titled Marty Casey & Lovehammers.

While driving home from work today I heard Marty's song Trees on the radio!

It was really good but I felt the tempo was a little slow. I think he sang it faster on the show.

Any news on when the next Rockstar show is on? Will it be with Van Halen?

I heard a rumor a couple of days ago that it will be Tommy Lee trying to find a lead singer for his side band.

They play "Pretty Vegas" on the radio here a lot - really like that song.

Did everyone here the news about the next Rock Star. It is an all-star cast of sorts. LOL I don't see it as being nearly as good as INXS since my guess it will be a one cd and then one tour kindof thing and the lead singer won't have a forever job.

Also I love Marty's new cd. I keep listening to it in my car. My DH thinks I'm crazy for buying cds of all these different reality show people but what can I say I'm addicted.

While I was a fan of the show last year, this new "band" really won't have me tuning in. Tommy Lee annoys the heck out of me. Now, I know nothing about Tommy Lee's type of music, but isn't it more "metal?" The good thing about INXS was that they seemed to fit in multiple genres (to me, it was rock and pop, both).

I'll give it a shot, but I'm a little uninterested now...

Yes it does. You can also go to his website and sign up for email info from the band. It had a link to the vspot on vh1 and they have some live in studio songs to listen/watch.
