Dexter on CBS?

I got into this show during the season that just ended on Showtime but I saw an ad during the Patriots/Chargers game that it'll be starting on CBS sometime soon. Is that a replay of the old season or a new season?

They're starting from the 1st episode of season 1. I am totally hooked on Dexter - started watching it the day it premiered on Showtime. I'm anxious to see what we'll get on network TV (very likely pretty chopped up, especially the parts that feature Dexter's potty-mouthed sister).

I read in TV Guide that they originally shot alternate dialogue - less potty mouth.

I can't imagine.... it would be like Sex and the City on TBS... totally tamed down and I like the ORIGINAL... don't water it down for the masses!

Yeah, like a PP said it'll probably be like SATC on TBS. I prefer the 'real' stuff - much better tv.

I also got into the Tudors - I've only seen the first episode that aired so I need to get those DVDs.

Oh, I totally agree. Dexter is one of my favorite shows. Now it'll be just like The Sopranos on A&E ... blech!

If anyone is really interested in watching, season 1 (the REAL season 1 on Showtime) is already out on DVD. Have fun with that instead! No commercials and you don't have to wait week-to-week for a new episode.

Dexter's sister does have the best lines plus Darla from Angel is his love interst.
