Don't know if this has been on a thread but thought I would pass it along. It was sent to my daughter at her work.

45 Minute Check-In Requirement for MCO Baggage

Effective March 29, 2006, Delta will require customers originating in Orlando (MCO) to check their baggage a minimum of 45 minutes prior to departure time. This change applies to customers traveling on domestic Delta, Delta Connection carriers, Song, and Delta-operated codeshare flights. (This policy currently applies to customers originating in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Denver).

Customers who do not meet this requirement will be re-accommodated on the next available flight(s) and will be charged the SDC or change fee.

Delta.com reflects this information and policy change.

Honestly if you dont arrive at the ticket counter until 45 minutes before your flight out of MCO you have a VERY GOOD chance of missing your flight because of the length of time it will take you to get through security.
