Decorating your resort room?

The string was 12.5 feet (50 mini lights). The suction cups worked great!

My family decorates our stateroom on the cruise ship. Last year I made Mickey heads (with everyones name and favorite character). We also had other random pictures with Mickey and Minnie at the beach. I was amazed when I went to the stack how many people commented that they had seen the room!

I bought Wall Clings at the Dollar Tree and plan to use them to decorate the inside of the room. I also got Nemo window clings to decorate the bathroom and vanity mirror!!

I see Valentine stuff at Walmart today so it should be at Dollar Treevery soon! I still want somered MHs and lots of Valentine Clings hopefully some are Disney themed!!

I went to the Dollar Tree yesterday and ours had all their Valentines Day stuff out. I got some suction cups to decorate the windows. Now I just have to decide what's going on the windows.

I have redlights for Valentines day and some valentine window clings, I like the idea of stuffed animals I think I'll pick up some at the Dollar Tree for the windowand some valentine garland and some red MH from HD !!

I wondered if you ever made it to the Dollar Tree to get your stuff. I see that you did. I love your ideas.

I went to our local party store and they had a string of 150 colored lights on sale for $1.00. Of course I had to pick those up for the trip.

I have done window decorations for both my and my parents room. This is the first time that I have done this, and I am so psyched!

For my parent's room I did a POTC theme, with a picture of Captain Jack from a HUGE Crayola coloring book and on either sides of the picture I made Garland that has a Skull and Crossbones, a Pirate flag with what my daughter calls them, and 4 gold pirate coins.

For our room I took a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Puzzle and glued it to a half sheet of posterboard with pictures from the clubhouse all around it. For the Garland it is Mickey Mouse ears that spell out what our daughter calls us and what we call her.

I am not sure how to post a picture, but I will figure it out and post one when I return!

I have to make sure that I show this thread to my husband who is convinced we are the only ones who will have a decorated window!!!

I had a brainstorm last night while relaxing with my Disney Princess coloring book (hey, those kids got the right idea ^.~) so I'll post pics soon

Love this thread!! You all have inspired me! DH thinks I have lost it packing light (just white Christmas light...think that will look ok?) and extention cords I also have about 50 green MM heads from HD and a Happy B-day sign....now I just have to figure out what to do with it all

Everytime I pick up something new for Disney my husband just rolls his eyes. He's convinced we are going to be the only ones with a decorated window/door!

I was at the Dollar Tree on Friday and they had the same Disney placemats that Dollar General had last year, plus some different ones too. They had a POC one!
