Decorating your resort room?

It's been a while since I was on here but awsome decorations everyone! We are planning a trip the end of Feb with our DD. It's her 1st trip and I was thinking about doing a pirates and princess theme for our door this time, since we are going to the party! Anyone know where I can get some nice decorations cheap? I have purple lights that I used last time so i think i am just going to take them again and make some new mickey heads of course. I am so excited!

I am thinking about surprising our kids w/ some valentine's window decor.....we never have, but your windows all look so cool! Has anyone seen disney valentine's clings anywhere? I'm hoping to narrow down the search!

Ninja....Maybe try making a heart on your window or door in the shape of red Mickey heads and then add some red and white lights to the frame of the window. Maybe buy some Disney valentines and have your kids cut out the pics or the words and attach them to the door or window. You can actually have a little "pocket" or envelope that you hang on the door and have the kids pre-make valentines (Disney of course) and put a note on the door to "please take one" "Happy Valentine's Day from the ??'s" and leave a pen and poster board for people to leave you notes back.

We usually go over 4th of July and put red, white and blue swag lights on our balcony railing. I have red, white and blue Mickey heads for our door and hang garlands, dangling decos and lights inside our room. The humidity is so bad in the middle of the summer that anything we hang outside on the door gets pretty warped so we have to be careful of what goes outside.

My kids LOVE to decorate but my husband thinks I'm a dork! Oh well...It wouldn't be the same if we didn't decorate.

Dollar Tree, Family Dollar and Walmart all have them here! I have red lights from christmas, clings red MHs, red stars and 3 valentine stuffed animals so far. If you don't have red lights clear would look good too

We just got back last night from Disney. I have to say I thought I would see more windows decorated but I only saw two. We were at POP Century. Here is what I had on my windows. I did take a picture but the glare is pretty bad so I'm just posting what went on it.

We were part of a Grand Gathering and I made fifteen mickey heads. This is just a picture of my family. I did each family in a different color.

I'm expecting to see great door signs from your family as I believe we are on the same cruise in October!!

Will be great to look out for your signs on the ship .. you won't be able to miss ours as I've done a million for each day!! ha.

3rd October ... I think it's your DS that has mentioned the dates on the 'when are you going thread' (it's not called that but I can't remember it's proper name!).

There'll be my partner and I, then my parents, 2 sisters and their partners plus an assortment of children ranging from 4 to 21 (not much of a child but you wouldn't know it sometimes!!).

It's also our first cruise and we are all so excited.

Here's my window at POP all decorated up. I didn't do anything fancy like lights or Mickey paint chip... I just decorated with Nemo window clings and Mr.Potato Head (stuff-a-box) I bought on my first night. Oh, and some pixie dust from rope drop at MK. I thought my window fit great with POP's theming.

The 3 potatoes were brought from home, but the parts were only a few of the parts I stuffed in a box... all you can fit in the box for $18 or $19. Theres lots of threads here about Mr.Potato Head, just use the search.
